This product is great!! We have an SUV that had a flat and this worked very well to jack the SUV up! Very well made product and super sturdy!

Weight rating may be a bit generous

I attempted to use this to jack up my vehicle (light truck) - about 4,300 lbs to put on snow tires. Since I was only lifting one corner of the vehicle to change each tire, the 2 ton - 4,000 lb rating should be more than enough. Sorry to say it only got so far then wouldn't raise up anymore ... which was not enough to get the tire off the ground. So the snow tires are not on. Just to make sure it wasn't defective I did jack up my large lawn tractor with the snow blower on it. That worked, so I see it as a weight issue not that the jack doesn't work.

Good portable floor jack, but not a "good" floor jack

This is a good portable floor jack. It stores in a case you can just pick up and leave with. If you do any routine maintenance on a car, this probably shouldn't be your only floor jack. It has a good weight limit at 2 tons and an ok lift height. If you drive a tall SUV, it is worth making sure this is high enough to get your car off the ground, if you have a lowered car, its worth making sure it will fit under your car. It's not low profile but gets the job done. If it starts to lose capability, fill it with some jack fix oil and it will probably be good for 5 more years.
