Great Sunglasses For The Price!
These are great glasses. I ended up picking them up at Khol's on sale. I've had a pair of Maui Jim's for 9 years. Only glasses I've had. And I take great care of them. Although I have had to send them back for a lens replacement because I scratched the lens (don't do yard work with expensive glasses). But, I figured I should get a 2nd pair once I found some that I liked. Just for an extra pair, and for traveling so I don't have to worry as much about them. So, over the past few weeks I've looked at glasses. None impressed me. Yes, the price I am looking for is much lower than my Maui Jim's. So, I know to not expect the same quality. But, I knew I could find something good in this price range. I tried these on and was instantly impressed. For one, they just fit my face great. Both in terms of looks, and in terms of how they hold on. Slight pressure so they are secure, but not hard enough to notice or feel while wearing. The glasses also have very strong folding mechanisms. They are pretty tight actually. Probably will slightly loosen up over time. But, they are not flopping around like most lower cost glasses. They move with some force and stay where you put them. And the lenses. They seem of a higher cost glasses. They are very clear and sun blocking. Mine have a slight blue-ish tint to them. Which is a nice difference from my Maui Jim's which have more of a gold tint; just something different. If someone handed me them, I would think they were more mid range (50 to 75 bucks) rather than the 20 I paid for them. Not sure how long they'll last, but I'm pretty careful with my stuff; so, I do expect them to last.
