My puppy was chewing and breaking the plastic clasps whenever he could get a collar. So, I was looking for a collar with metal clasps. This does the trick! The collar material is bright and colorful, and the clasp is strong.

Not exactly as advertised :-(

This collar would be awesome, if it were the actual size it's marked as. I ordered the 18-32" neck size, removed a 18-32" tag to extend the collar, and the total length from buckle tip to buckle tip is 20". Wild disappointment, because that will not fit my dog. Also, the buckles used with 1.5" webbing is too small, scrunching the webbing on both ends. I assume that's the buckle used for 1" collars and Buckle Down doesn't use one with a larger opening for their thicker webbing - but that prevents the material from laying flat. Very disappointed.

This gave my dog a massive rash. The kind that oozes and needed medical attention. I don't know what this "heavy duty" metal is made of but it's sure not skin friendly. It's also pretty hard to buckle and it's slightly shorter than the listing claims. I've only used it a week, and it hasn't fallen apart so at least it is put together well.
