Lightweight and take weight off foot.

Just what I was looking for. It's short, not heavy, takes the weight and pressure off my big toe. I have a crushed, severe transverse fracture of the big toe. Word to the wise, dont drop an antique iron wood stove on your foot. Lol. ER gave me an expensive tall boot that caused pain within a few minutes and swelling. I came home, went to Amazon and after much searching, decided on this one. As soon as I put it on, the pressure was off and I could walk without pain. That is a good thing as I was told I'll be in a boot 4-6 weeks while it heals. I'm one of "those people" that never sit down so this will definitely make a difference. I would give it 4.5 stars as it is heavier than described. It is about 2 lbs but that is much better than the $300 ER boot that weighs 4 + lbs.

Broke In Less Than 2 Months

Pros- Very comfortable, easy to walk in Cons- Velcro that held the top portion of the boot closed ripped off and one strap that also held the top part of the boot closed also broke. For the price, this should have lasted a lot longer. I have a break that is taking it’s time to close and have been in a boot 3 months and still going. I just had to purchase another boot but decided to use a different brand. That one seems much more sturdy and reliable. Plus it was cheaper.

Size chart not accurate

I purchased a medium based on the size chart provided- female size 7.5 shoe, but it is wayyyy too big (long). Over 1.5” left at the top of the foot. (Note: I’ve had to wear a boot on and off for over 10 years, so I know how they should fit. I typically have worn a small in the past, but ordered by the chart in case the product sizing has changed since the last time I purchased one.)

Worked for me

I would buy again if needed. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is that I had to wear a heavy sock for it to be snug. Since this is unisex, they make it a bit too wide for females. Other than that is is comfortable to walk in.

Sturdy and light

I have tendonitis and occasionally need to wear a boot like this. I've tried several and most of them were quite cheap. This boot is substantial with metal fittings and secure velcro. It really works well for me. It's light and sturdy. I commute to work in it; taking public transit and walking from transit to the office. It can take some abuse and the fit is great.

Good for bone bruise foot injury

This helped a lot with a deep bone bruise I had on my foot. It enabled me to walk without too much pain.
