Great, Slow Flow Nipples

My newborn has having a really hard time using the nipples that came with our Evenflow glass bottles. He would be trying to eat and the milk would be flowing from the side of his mouth. These nipples fit our bottles perfectly and he's been eating great ever since! He hardly has any dripping and downs an entire bottle with no issues. We were so grateful for these-they turned feeding time from stressful to enjoyable.

Great for newborn

The marketing on these as “premie” is deceptive as it’s really just the slowest flow option in the Dr. Brown’s line. We purchased for our newborn who was struggling with the feeding speeding of the standard 1 that comes with the bottles. Her fussiness while eating and speed almost instantly improved. When meeting with the lactation specialist she agreed that the slower feed option was an improvement for her latch etc. Moral of the review - if you need a slower feed don’t be swayed by the premie title!

Cheap

For a chwap proce you can get a lot of nipple that is not available on stores. You definitely have to have an extra nipple always for your baby.

They work great!

I like the six pack wasn’t too expensive and it was only like $10 and some change. That isn’t too bad I guess… they worked and done the job like they were supposed to

Came in handy and was shipped fast

They work as intended and my baby stopped gagging herself when taking the bottle. Fit perfectly with my dr.brown bottles and I had next day shipping even when living in a smaller town so that was amazing!

Great for Breastfeeding Newborns

My son is breastfeeding but it was important to transition him to a bottle at an early age. The level ones were too powerful and he was constantly gulping and struggling to take the bottle. The level P really allowed him to gain control and made bottle feeding so much easier!

Great but expensive

This product did exactly what it was advertised. I’m glad I moved baby up to the larger nipple size. I had noticed with the smaller sizes he would struggle to get a good feed in before falling asleep. Then he’d awake from his nap early still very hungry! I just don’t understand why these are so expensive.

It’s important to switch sizes.

These shipped almost immediately and were just what our baby girl needed. She had been getting frustrated with her bottles and was struggling to finish a single one without batting it away. After switching to the Level 3, she’s back on track and feeding time is much more enjoyable. If you are struggling with feeding time, check the nipple size and look for a faster flow.

Not just for Premie babies

If you have a newborn that can’t control the way they drink and breathe then this nipple size is for you. My baby had trouble controlling drinking and breathing and would gulp so much she gave herself unnecessary gas that she couldn’t even express herself. She wasn’t a premie baby at all just a normal 8lb baby who had trouble maneuvering a size 1 nipple… and at 2 1/2 months once she understood how to drink and breathe and the gulping went away, we moved up to a size 1 nipple

Good quality but fast!

This nipple is fast! Obviously right but my little guy stopped Breast feeding cold turkey at 12 months so I thought these would be the best because the other nips say 3,6,9 months, unfortunately he practically drowned trying to drink from it! I tried several times thinking he would get used to it, nope. I think these would b good for chunkier liquids like smoothies etc, or an advanced bottle drinker, like a toddler who comes for a swig of their milk but doesn’t like a sippy cup yet..

Improved the feeding time!

I wasn’t sure whether to size up to level 2 as there are so many different advice out there re: using different nipple sizes. Some say to change as the babe gets older, and some say same is unnecessary. Based on my observation of how long it was taking my baby to finish his milk, I’ve decided to size up and I’m glad I did (vs. automatically changing to the next size based on age). These level 2 nipples were exactly what he needed. They aren’t too fast flowing for him that he’s choking or breathing in air. His intake time has significantly reduced, making our meal time much more productive! They are fairly easy to clean with a mini brush, and I also boil them each day. Without properly brushing/scrubbing the inside, there will be a built up of milk residue. One thing to note is that these nipples seem to be thinner than my preemie & size 1 nipples; I’ve noticed they are a lot easier to get bent when baby is distracted and trying to push the bottle away. Overall, happy with my purchase!

The perfect nipple dor thick fluids

We finally found the perfect nipple for our little one. Our baby is on thickened formula and we searched high and low for a nipple that would actually work. Came across these y cut ones on Amazon and they really were a life changer. I haven't seen them in store anywhere. The only con is that after a few weeks the y cut gets bigger so the nipple has to be replaced often. We are on our second box. If you use these, please check the hole everytime before you give the bottle to your baby. Otherwise I have no concerns. Strongly encourage for any babies who are on thicker formula.
