Very pigmented so if your fair skin use very little. Blends extremely well and looks flawless.

Elf Putty Blush Contour - Color Tan Lines

I’ve been experimenting with creme makeup for my mature skin (@54 yrs) and this Elf putty contour blush in the Tan Lines color is sold out everywhere! I found it here and couldn’t resist! I cannot believe the quality of this product as it is silky and picks up well as I purchased the Elf putty blush contour brush. I blended it using my fingers and the brush and either way it worked lovely. I am pleased I purchased this product and won’t hesitate to continue to do so in the future. Also, I would recommend this product to anyone that has mature skin or prefers a glowing contour - especially at this LOW PRICE!

I wanted to like this..

I wanted to like this so bad! I love cream bronzers and wanted an alternative to a more expensive one I was using and more cool tones for my fair skin. The shade is great but it’s a bit oily even for my dry skin. It didn’t stay put on me after a few hours and it’s hard to get a good pay off on my skin. Excited to try the new contour wand though as I love elf products!

Great as a contour

I'm very pale and this one is more cool-toned so it makes a really good contour shade for me. I'm not sure I'd use this as a bronzer, as I bought this specifically to use as contour since it looked like the perfect shade for me, but it's a lovely contour shade.

Easy and light

I am a beginner with contour, and have cool toned light skin, so I wanted something that wasn't too intense. I bought "Feelin' Shady" color bronzer to use for light contouring. This is perfect for what I was looking for. The color is cool, light and sheer. It's not orangey or warm brown and is not shimmery. It's lightweight and I can build it up easily. I use a stipple brush so it applies extra lightly. But you could use other application methods for more intense application. It's not sticky, dries down nicely and seems to last a long time.

Not meant for oily skin

I really expected this product to be better due to the reviews but I was pretty disappointed. If you have oily skin I do not recommend. Its almost to creamy and ends up disappearing when you blend it in with a beauty blender. I could be worse but it could also be a million times better so buy at your own risk!

A little color.

I have very pale skin so I didn’t warm something that would look a mess. This Shady just gives me a little color and softer tone. You can apply with fingers or brush which I like better. I recommend this product

Great if you have struggled to find contour for very cool toned skin

I am quite pale and extra cool toned. This is the first contour I've found that actually looks like shadow on my face rather than orange. So, for me it's miraculous. You do need to build it if you want an intense look so it's not the quickest, but it blends easily. If you're warm toned this is going to look dreadful on you, but if you're like me and in constant despair about finding cool toned bronzer, it's deffo worth a try. This will be my go to now.

Quicker than ordering direct from Elf

I really wanted to try this bronzer but it takes quite a while to get delivered from Elf, so I ordered from Amazon instead. Which was next day delivery so much more preferable. The product itself is great, I just wish I’d got a darker shade as this is a little light for me and I wanted more of a bronzed look. It’s super easy to apply with a flat headed brush or a beauty blender.

Comes on really patchy

I was really hoping to like this product but was so disappointed. I don’t really like the formula and it doesn’t glide or blend well. It just looks patchy over my foundation. I can only use it as a nose contour which works fine however doesn’t last. The whole product isn’t long lasting.

Great contor for pale girlies

Great contor for us pale girls. No orange cast, blends well. Overall will be purchasing more when i use this up, though maybe a while as there's quite a bit of product!
