Replacement for my 4 yr. old Easy Spirit walking shoes.

I walk 3 times a week for an half an hour, my previous Easy Spirit walking shoes have lasted for 4 years. I also wear them for shopping and other errands. They just started to show wear in the soles and then a hole developed so they had to be replaced. I fully expect to get the same use from my new shoes.

Heels are...

The shoes were well made. I have bought Easy Spirit in the past and found them very comfortable, especially for walking and gym time. However, this pair, although nice looking, were too large at the heel area. The shoes fitted poorly and my heels slipped up and down in them on the first try on. I would not recommend the shoes for anyone without a try on in a store setting.

Easy Spirit Women's AP1 Sport Sneaker

I bought two pairs of this same shoe, black and white, and they were both about a half size too large. They had arch supports but they could have been better. I would certainly not be able to walk long distances in these shoes but then I have a bad back and bad knees that need better than average support.

Better than last

I do a lot of standing and walking and need good shoes. I put a dr. sole in for added comfort and it has made it a lot better but on their own not pass four hours.

Disappointed.

My previous pair of Easy Spirit black sneakers were my favorites. I couldn't find the exact same thing in stores or on line, but these looked close. They are not very comfy even though they are the exact same size as my old ones. I kept trying to see if they would adjust with wear, but they now sit in the back of my closet. I still need something I can walk in and teach in while standing for long periods of time.

Satisfied with shoes

I am elderly and these shoes are comfortable and light weight. I use them daily and only use a more dressy shoe when going to a more formal function.
