It virtually eliminates floating installations and industrial design cam action mechanism insures quiet switch action. Provided with patented built in wire stripper for No.14 and No.12 wire to speed installation. It's unbreakable top and bottom housing eliminates call backs due to job site breakage. Also, provided patented built in wire looper for pre-looping. This 3-way switch features additional push in common termination for feed through tapping. The push in terminals accept No.14 solid wire only and side wire terminals accept up to No.10 solid or stranded wire. Features Tri-combo screws accept slotted Phillips and Robertson head tools for installations in both the US and Canada. It has lighted toggle which glows in off position. Also, features exclusive color matching toggle and dust apron. It has single-pole configuration and 15-amp, 120-Volt rating. Available in white color. Really nice added feature the light

Takes a little doin....

Growing up with push button variety of these switches, half of which, still work after 50+ yrs we decided to replace all the switches in our new home. Right away these are not as robust as the generic American made Leviton switches you expect a builder to use. The push wire contacts don't grip nearly as well and sometimes not all so you'll have to use the side lugs on these imported switches... Another word of caution is they will flicker with some types of LED bulbs particularly the soft white replacement type unless the switch operates several fixtures or a multiple bulb fixture were you can add an incandescent in series seems to cure the problem. The exposed filament chandelier type LED bulbs don't cause a problem... 11/18 - First one burned out 03/19 - Anther starting to flicker

Just enough light

These switches have a subtle orange glow when turned off that makes them just bright enough to locate in the dark, but not light up the room. In daylight (or room light) they look like normal toggle switches. I am using them with LED bulbs and have not noticed any problems. The ones I received were made in Mexico. They appear to be fairly well made; perhaps not quite up to the old MADE IN U.S.A. standards, but still good. Time will tell.

Good product, wrong packing

These are single pole lighted switches, probably older stock. Made well with metal parts and much less plastic. However, the packing lists these are triple pole. Take a look at the switch: it has just two poles, so it cannot be a triple pole switch. I got what I ordered, but the packaging was mislabeled.

Not for LED bulbs

Please note: if all of your lights on this circuit are LED, this will NOT work. The reason is that it needs a "return path" through the filament of the light bulb and LED bulbs do not have that; conventional bulbs do.

This switch is a great product. The switch installs easily and its handle has a bright glow. I'll eventually replace most of my regular switches with these lighted units. I've found if you shop around (on-line) you can find them priced at $3.00 +/- 0.50... but watch out for shipping charges. For example, ANT will bill you a buck a switch (in quantities of 10) for shipping something that weigh 0.8 oz... that way too steep for me, and I won't pay it.
