The TREX 6304 Step-In Ice Cleats are lightweight ice grips for boots and shoes that provide tenacious traction and extra stability on ice and snow. Stretchable one-piece design offers grip to prevent slip and fall injuries on the ice. Contoured œstep in 3D design easily wraps around boots and shoes for a superior fit. These ice grippers feature 12 rugged carbon steel cleats on the ball and heel of foot for grip on slippery terrain. Available in multiple sizes and will fit over any style of boot or shoe for traction and stability during winter work or other winter outdoor activities. Tested to be flexible in temperatures down to -40°F (-40°C), the contoured 3D design allows you to step into these ice traction cleats for fast and easy on/off. Great Traction

I was able to walk on some very wet slippery ice and remain in an upright position.

Ice gripping safety

I ordered large for a size 11 ankle boot and they fit snugly but one did come off once. Walking two weeks on snow and ice in single digit weather with some dry sidewalks and no slipping problems. I have replaced the back two studs on one boot. One stud was worn down and the other worn but still okay but replaced for symmetry. Studs were pretty easy to replace. Walking on dry sidewalks is not a problem. I have some studded cleats that are real heavy duty and are uncomfortable on dry sidewalks. These cleats added a level of ice gripping safety my ankle boots really lacked.

works great on snow.

i now walk my dog now that the sidewalks are iced over, and have no fear of sliding and falling .. Now i don't have to wait until summer. Love them.. I am ordering more... ????

Difficult to put on.

These were described as step in and some reviews mentioned they were easy to put on and take off. The pair I received were not at all easy to put on. Nor did they look like the pictures. Instead of covering just the front of the toe they cover the top also. Then it was not easy to stretch it back over the heel. They do work well to prevent slipping but I will need to dedicate a pair of boots and just leave them on. I bought the XL size for a size 11 boot.

Awesome gripping

Our driveway is nothing but a sheet of thick ice. These grippers have made my trip to the mailbox so safe. Haven’t slipped once. Easy to put on my boots too. Great purchase.

No worries on ice or snow

A bit of a struggle to put on, so plan to just leave them on my boots for the winter. Never had even a small slip while wearing them. I can walk on ice or snow as easily and confidently as on a dry surface.

Excellent for walking in the snow and ice

I bought this product for my Sister as she does lots of dog walking and has been known to slip on ice and bang her head. She loves the product and has gained her confidence back when walking in the snow and ice

Work well

The medium fit my women’s 91/2 merrell hikers. I would need large for my Sorels. They go on easily and stayed on when I walked on icy, (glare ice!) uneven sidewalks and roads that I couldn’t walk on safely before the grips. They immediately let me stride along securely. I’m very happy with the quality and the price.
