PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Ernst 13-inch Universal Socket Organizers come with 11 1/2-inch drive Twist Lock socket clips. Twin serrated edges provide 2-sided socket and accessory loading. Additional socket clips and other add-ons snap on both sides for maximum socket storage. It can hang vertically for convenient storage. Dura-Pro Twist Lock clips provide all the versatility you have come to expect from Ernst, now with "stay put" security. With a simple twist your sockets are firmly secured in a locked position. Twist in the reverse direction and your sockets are free to remove. The tension is a perfect medium so you do not have to fight with your sockets to lock them into place and you don't have to worry about them being too loose. Just a simple 1/8 turn and your tools are secured. Add, remove, and insert clips on any portion of the socket rail to fit your custom set of tools. Socket clips click into place, can be easily repositioned and installed between previously placed clips. End stops on each end of the socket organizer keep socket clips securely fastened. No dropping sockets

I’ve converted most of my socket strips to this style. I first found out about these when I ordered some tekton sockets and really liked them. They hold nice and tight but are easy to twist off. Highly recommend these and they’re made in USA.

Only down side is the included stickers don't stick very well. I had to use some glue to hold them on.

Holds socket’s firmly

Each socket is held firmly with a twist. Sometimes a bit finicky to get on and off but the best I’ve tried for ease of use and retention. The little labels take some effort on initial setup but are easier for these old eyes to see than the socket markings.

Would Recommend - Good on its own but GREAT considering price.

For the price, I don’t think you can beat it. Does exactly what it says it will. The socket holders slide off either end of the rail with enough force to make sure it’s not happening on accident but also little enough that it’s not super hard to do when you mean to. The stickers are an excellent add on and were the selling point for me over other versions of these rails. My impact sockets dont have contrasting labels to it was super nice to have the stickers to be able to quickly identify sizes. Could be better if there were enough labels to label both sides of the socket holders but one side is enough. Again, for the price, I’m not upset I couldn’t label both sides. Time will tell but the rails seem sturdy. They give a little flex, as plastic will. But it’s very little. Weighed with ten deep sockets you can still pick this thing up however you want to and its not bending or folding or feeling like it’s about to break. You can flip it upside down fully weighted and shake it and it doesnt flex much more than if you were holding it still and none of the sockets fall off. The lock feature is another nice add on to this set. They greatly reduce the carry footprint compared to a hard case that they come in. And on the rail they fit in tool rolls like the atlas yorktown. Most of these will stay in my home while the metrics are really the ones I use frequently. Could easily mix and match the sockets to have a rail of frequently used and then a bunch of other rails of the less used ones. Multiple color options allows for easily identification of drive size or of metric vs sae. I wish there were 6 colors though so I could identify metric vs sae AND 1/2” vs 3/8” vs 1/4” each with it’s own color set.

Amazing, I wasn't sure how to use the locking feature at first, but wow, very cool.

It took me several minutes and going back to it later to figure out that I the sockets go on very easy or I'm doing it wrong lol, if its not sliding on with ease, I need to turn the socket slightly till it lines up properly then slide it on. Once the socket slides on (again, don't force) twist clockwise, you will feel a soft click, some click once and some click twice. I found that some of my cheaper sockets will not stay on, they have no inner grooves, some will actually lock in and others will not. All of my quality sockets with inner bearing-slots twist lock into place and hold perfectly. I read someone saying that the sockets don't stay on for them, if your sockets have that inner groove , my bet is that they will work as well for you as I think they will work for me. Overall length is about 13 1/8'' and 1 1/8'' wide including the socket holder sliders. I will be cutting mine down to fit in my motorcycle tool bag, I will update this review later, and list any any observations I might make on this product.

Works well, but has trouble with larger sockets.

Its great holds all my sockets only issue is it wont fit all my toolboxes and the larger sockets like a 20mm or a 15/16 will just pop off. For the smaller ones it is perfect. Even got a coworker to buy 2 of them.

Does the job well.

The clips ratchet on the sides of the rails for positive location which is a nice feature. I had to mix and match with other 3/8" clips from another rail and the clips were easy to remove and add. Some of the sockets did not "drop in" as easy as others but I think that is a function of how they are oriented when putting them on. The twist lock is smooth and very secure. I also bought the magnetic mounting brackets to retain them in my drawer and they interfaced seamlessly with them. The only thing I might suggest that could be better is some sort of dedicated surface for the self adhesive labels that come with the rail to help you more readily identify the size of the socket. Some of the sockets I installed did not leave a lot of visible room on the clip on which to affix or view the label. Of course, I may be applying the labels incorrectly as there were not instructions on where to put them, I had to refer to the photos on the companies website. However, I did not let this affect the rating as, in my mind the labels are a "nice to have", not a necessity. All my sockets are clearly marked anyway.

El articulo llego quebrado, dañado, con partes faltantes

Solicite dos articulos iguales, uno llego en caja bien, el otro llego en sobre y venia quebrado y con piezas faltantes. Yo ocupo solo los clips de todos modos le retiraria el riel pero si me faltaron piezas: Servicio al cliente realizo devolucion del importe sin problema, en cuanto al articulo en si muy bueno, es lo que requeria para mis herramientas. Lo volveria a solicitar con la confianza de que cualquier problema me lo solucionarian por parte de Amazon, muchas gracias por el buen servicio

These socket rails are great

I have multiple different Ernst Twist Lock socket rails, they are great. The twist lock mechanism works really well with non-impact sockets, with impact sockets they feel a bit stiff when twisting on but still hold both types of sockets really well
