Shiny shiny shiny

I couldn’t go out in public after putting this sunscreen on my face. I have normal/combo skin and this sunscreen made my face super-shiny and sticky.

Shiny but works.

I am usually a Supergoop Matte Mineral Sunscreen user and thought I’d try this as it’s significantly more affordable. The instructions are better than the Supergoop sunscreen. I prefer the pump compared to the tube. This is greasy and while it does eventually blend in, the shine never really goes away, even with makeup on top. When initially applying it is very sticky, this does diminish as it dries. Ultimately it works. I’ll continue to use it when I am not worried as much about being shiny (beach, pool, yard work, etc).

Didn't blend well with my face but gave it an interesting orange tone.

Perhaps you need to have had years of makeup being applied as their models that they use have, but for a plain person like me it didn't blend well and left an orange tone. I should have taken a good photograph before I washed it off but it didn't occur to me at the time. I'll still get some use out of it as I don't mind looking like Gritty the mascot when I'm outside mowing the lawn or working in the yard but I probably wouldn't wear this if I need to be around people other than my family. Sorry Eucerin, we normally love your products but you missed the mark on this one.

It doesn't provide as much coverage for blemishes/evening out skin tone as foundation, but definitely some - about what I expected for a tinted sunscreen. I don't know how it would work for other skin tones and shades, but it works well for me (light, neutral to cool toned.) I think I have rosacea, and this hasn't seemed to exacerbate it. It does leave skin a little shiny, as sunscreens do, but with this and a little powder I feel ready to be out and about, protected and a little polished too.
