Light and powerful!

I preface this by saying I only received this about 40 minutes ago. Inboxed and vacuuming within 5 minutes. It's so easy to put together out of the box. And it's already making me question my current robot vacuum. The amount of pet hair and dust pulled out of my area rug was disturbing. The powerful suction and ease of maneuvering made me miss vacuuming after 2 years with the robot. The large canister is easy to disconnect and dumps from the bottom making the dust and fluff stay inside the garbage can. Reconnecting is so easy! Not a negative, but something to note is the power of the suction in vacuuming one of my runner rugs was lifting the rug from the floor. Maybe I need to adjust the pile height. Also did bare floors with ease. It picks up the small gritty pieces right to the edge of the cats litter box! So far I am very impressed with this new vacuum and have already recommended to my friends! EUREKA! It's a great vacuum.

Always preferred Eureka Vacuums

My very first vacuum in my 20s was a Eureka. I loved it. I could suck up a whole crayon. As vacuums began to change, I thought I'd try some other brands... waste of money. They were heavy, loud to the point that I wore earplugs when I used one of them, and so bulky they were difficult to maneuver. And one of them shot the hot, exhaust air right up into your face...a terrible design function. But now I'm back with affordable, reliable, and lightweight Eureka. I have 4 dogs and 4 feral cats, so vacuuming is a DAILY chore. I take my time, rather than like I'm running a marathon and working up a sweatshirt! The suction is pretty strong, which pulls up the short pile on my large, oriental carpets! Definitely sticking with Eureka from now on.

Great little vacuum (Hidden Gem)

What I liked was the size, and the suction power, my last vacuum finally stopped working after 15 years, great brand but could not find another so I went hunting locally then here at Amazon and found this little gem, don’t let the size fool you because this thing sucks up everything. The suction on this is truly awesome. Easy to clean, washable filters so you don’t spend a fortune buying replacement filters and more time cleaning which is why you bought it in the first place. The cord is just the right length and I don’t regret the purchase, noise level not bad, acceptable. Would buy another if I needed it. Space saving vacuum. Happy cleaning.

Very powerful. And. Just a reminder . If you like your toes or anything else that you might want to keep, make absolutely certain that you move those things out of the way . Although I don’t like the color scheme or the handle attachment , because there’s a lot of play when you move the vacuum back and forth and the handle actually plays two roles , it serves as the extension to clean floor boards or higher to reach places , leaving you to have to look at a filthy handle, not unless you clean it after every use . But it truly gets a 5 on power !!

Does the job I bought it for

Not much to get excited about, it's just a vacuum cleaner. It's adequate for the job I wanted it for and quite a lot more besides. I'm surprised at the amount of suction, pick-up ability this vacuum has for the price I paid for it. I've seen a vac or two with as much or more suction as this Eureeka, but not many. Yeah, it's still brand new and, of course, pays for its inexpense with compromises like cheaper plastic, lighter fans, smaller motors, slightly less cord, etc. I never quite figured out why there are so many models for sale on Amazon with widely different prices from $65 to $150, but I think I narrowed it down to the number and quality of the other cleanup tools shipped with each vac. Other than the included tools, the only difference I can see in them are the colors of their plastic. I got a blue one. YIPPPEEE! Like I said before, this thing right out of the box performs well in picking up pet hair and dust from hardwood floors and low-pile carpets. It's definitely worth what I paid for it and then some. I'm happy with it, and that's all that really matters to me. It probably won't last long, but I'll edit this review when it dies.
