The best potholders

I’ve been buying these for years. They’re the best heat shielding, grippy pot holders. They’re the perfect fit for my (glove size 7) hands. My large-handed husband finds them a bit snug. I’ve never been able to wear a pair out, because my very dog dog chews the thumbs off if they’re left out on the counter.

Still feel 350 degree heat

I originally had a solid silicone pair but ruined them and was looking for a replacement. I would barely feel any heat taking a pan out of the oven at 450 degrees so I loved them. I have All-Clad pots and pans so thought I would buy these. Like the color (got the sage) and the length is perfect. I didn’t realize the only silicone parts were the horizontal lines on the mitts. Took a pan out of the oven at 350 degrees and could feel the heat come through more so than I ever could with the old pair I had. I need more heat protection than these could provide. Not for me.

bulky but nice

These oven mitts are nice looking and match my coordinating dish towels, but they are a bit bulky, almost hard to grasp your hand around a dish in the oven

Good overall choice with one setback

All-Clad is a well known brand in the kitchen. The glove is good. Has a gripping texture and good coverage. My one gripe is the shape. You kind of want a puppet hand to easily hold hot pans but this makes you feel more like a lobster claw. Overall satisfied.

First glove that hasn't fallen apart in 6months, and never burned myself.

Most gloves I had were gifts, and most were only good for holding something for 5seconds and then would start getting uncomfortably hot. And after 6months or so would start falling apart. I haven't had the issue with this ones. Still holds well, a little darkened from daily usage, but still in one piece and will likely last many more years. I sometime get a little fluff on my hands from the inside insulation but not enough to be a problem, and never big chunks.

Careful, it is ONLY ONE MIT!

Disliked that it was not 1 PAIR but rather only 1 MIT. Never saw a single MIT being sold.

The best oven mitts

Love these! It’s hard to find the classic fabric oven mitts with companies switching to 100% silicone. These are extremely heat resistant, comfy, and the silicone stripes enhance grip. I buy these for everyone!
