Great company to to buy from
Very good boat guides, and the service department is great. Had issue with a part missing due to to the shipping box being damaged. Contacted them via e-mail and the missing part was delivered to me in two days. Recommend These boat guides to anyone looking for a good poduct and ecellent service.

Great product and even better customer service
My original order arrived as expected but I was missing a piece of the assembly. I contacted Extrememax via email with the issue. They overnighted the piece to me under a warranty request the same day. Really nice to do business with a responsive American company. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone looking for both quality and great customer service

Bottom plate bends. Was short two nuts.
*** Post-purchase Update *** We used the guides quite a few times this season without incident except for one time I pulled the trailer of the water too quickly and the roller got lodged under the boat's bumprail as the it was coming out of the water. It pulled the bumprail out of the hull but I was able to repair it. I wish these were about 1' taller to avoid damage to my boat in the future when crosswinds push the boat against a roller as we pull out. Next season I'll try and engineer something to increase the height. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the guides. Original review: My trailer has a little step where the guide was installed. I have steps ahead and behind both fenders. I had to drill through the step with a stepped bit which wasn't hard. I was able to drill the holes and install the bumpers with the boat on the trailer. My first frustration was how easily the bottom plate bent. The plate is way bigger than my frame rail is wide so a lot of the bottom plate hangs out in the air. When tightening the bolts the plate began to bend. Not sure if it'll impact long-term functionality but I'm concerned about the strength. My second frustration was that they shorted me two nuts. A trip to the hardware store was required. The instructions were clear enough if you think them through. They include a list of the included parts and show a picture of them all together with arrows pointing to where everything goes and somewhat brief installation notes. It's not a step-by-step IKEA style set of instructions, so you'll have to be somewhat mechanically inclined to install them. I suspect they're not super in-depth because all trailers differ. I pulled on them pretty hard once they were installed and they seem pretty stout so they should do well. The top of the bumper is tapered to allow the boat to pop down over the guide if it should be against it and foul on the bumprail when you trailer it out. Probably best to go slow. These guides will help us a lot. Our boat has a fairly deep draft so when we take out only the very front touches the bunking which constantly led to the boat being off center because it's impossible to get it directly over the trailer and keep it that way when taking it out. We're headed on a multi-day lake trip this week and we'll be putting in and taking out a lot. If these rails don't work or fail in some way, I'll post an update. If I don't, assume all went well!

Made loading my boat 10x easier
Great product. Works as advertised. Made loading my 22ft Wellcraft Coastal 10x easier! Only drawback - bolts were too short, so I had to run to Lowe's to get some that fit ($20). Otherwise, it's making things easier.

Recovery is now a one man job
Got this to help me get the boat on the trailer. Before this was at least a 2-3 person job because I have a M shaped hull. Now it’s just a single person job.

Awesome product
This product should be included on all boat trailers. Greatly aids in boat retrieval during heavy tides and side wind.

Boat trailer guide ons by extreme max 3005.2181 roller
These are exactly what I was looking for, had the carpeted bunk style on my trailer and the metal used was cheap. every time I would load and bump them, they bent. These are much thicker. The only thing I would like to see is a thicker bracket for the bolts to attach to the trailer but that isn't a problem if they bend I'll get a thicker plate and drill the holes. Another thing is the order guides were bulky and made it difficult to clean my boat. I Cut them off and it made my trailer so much newer and updated plus with this style I can easily remove and buff the sides of my boat.

These are easy to assemble
These are easy to assemble. They can be set up to change the rollers at different heights on the side of your boat. They look and work well on any boat trailer. I will be adding my trailer lights to the bars up high to keep my lights out of the water. Happy with my purchase.
