waxstick 03 and 06

I tried 2 of these sticks (#03 and 06) on hem-fir and could not match the actual wood color. I was not able to patch the nail hole by rubbing the stick across the hole, as shown in the product description so I had to slice off little slivers of it with my pocket knife and put it in the hole with my finger. It looks like I will need to sand it good.
