Better than a Chain Whip!
These cassette pliers make removing a cassette much easier. Would definitely recommend just as highly as the more expensive park tools version.

Great design
Nice design and easy to use. These are way less clumsy than your old chain whip.

Skin saver
So much easier than a chain whip and not much chance or scrapping your knuckles

Great way to work with cassettes
After almost 50 years of chain-whips this is a great idea.

Would recommend this to anyone looking for this particular tools
How this tool is well-constructed it works perfectly I have used it several times and for the price you can't beat it if you're looking to buy one of these I would recommend this one other ones on the market such as the park tool you're going to pay double and they basically do the same thing

Good but not sure it’s better than a whip
Good product, worked as expected when you place on the correct cog. Not so sure it’s better than a traditional chain whip though.

Better than a whip
I bought this to replace a broken chain whip, and didn’t think it would be a substantial improvement. It is, especially with the locking mechanism. Worth mentioning my whip broke trying to remove a cassette lock ring that came waaaaaay too tight on the OEM wheels on a new bike. These pliers didn’t flinch at all.

The quality is lacking, but it does the job.

Ditch the chain whip
So the lowly chain whip has now graduated into this style of tool. I have to say it is much better than the traditional chain whip and reduces the risk of busting a knuckle. I have only used this particular brand of cassette plier but I know Park makes one as well which I have not used. This one was priced better and therefore I went with that instead. It took some getting used to but once I figured it out it was a breeze to use. I can see this being used for many years. Yes it is kind of pricey for what it is but well worth it for the function it provides. If you are in the market for a chain whip, consider this instead, the experience will be much better.

So much better than a Whip
Made a sticky cassette so easy to remove. Would never go back to a chain whip after this. Seems very sturdy and robust. A must have if you have a few bikes or are a do it yourself type.

Good Bye Chain Whips!!
A great improvement over the old style chain whips... Fits my hand well and is very easy to use. A very nice addition to my tool box. I recommend anyone working on bikes to get one of these. 5 Stars for sure

Works well
Works well once I go the hang of it. Good secure grip but less leverage than my SR-2.3 long chain whip. Stowage lock is a nice touch, reduces the space required in the toolbox.
