Under mount kitchen filter works!

Replaced the miserable filter we had under our Foretravel kitchen. Hard to remove and when you reinstalled, it usually leaked. Not this one. Very happy with the results and easy add to your sink water stand alone water supply. Purchased the extra filters for this as well for normal change outs as needed.

Love the way my water tastes

Love this water filtration system quite a bit and even more so the taste of the water from that tap. I even want to put one in the master bedroom so I can have the filtered water in there too ????

Taste clean, lasts for 6 months

Easy replacing, drips a bit while replacing filter. Lasts for 6 months in regular household use for two people. Tastes clean, but I prefer to warm it up before drinking (water, coffee, tea), because cold water itself does not taste natural to me.

Good

I bought this because I use 3m brand at work and trust it’s quality. It was easy to install. Came with everything needed. It dripped at first then I realized I didn’t have one of the hoses pressed in all the way. It will cut your water pressure quite a bit, mine has about half the pressure I started with. My water wasn’t that bad to begin with so it didn’t make a big taste difference. After a couple months of using it I’m happy with it. It’s pretty good without going the expense or complexity of a full reverse osmosis system.

Taste bad

I’ve been using this system for 15 years and it’s always work correctly until this last container for some reason the water taste horrible. I keep thinking I just need to wait a little longer but I realize I’ve been waiting a very very long time.

Water smells terrible at moms house

My mom was complaining about her water smelling bad. Threw this kit on and it’s perfect smelling water. Don’t know if it’s surfer or pipes or what. Good kit would buy again

Great Solution for Well Water

Item arrived quickly and safely. Installation was simple and took less than an hour. The filter eliminated the two issues that we had with the water in our century home - smell and taste (if it smells odd you’re not going to want to drink it, right?). No stink and no taste. Perfect!

Great filter, but does'nt remove fluoride. Pricy.

Great tasting water, with no chlorine smell for 4-5 months. Easy to replace (recommended every 6 months), no leaks. "Made in USA with globally sourced materials" (read: Made in China). Pricy... Now, on to technical details: Removes hardness by 60%, reduces PH by 0.5 units (in our case from 7.5 to 7), completely removes Bromine and Chlorine. Did not reduce Fluoride. Total dissolved solids (TDS) also remained the same.

Want better drinking water? 3M Filtrete is the excellent inexpensive option.

Very easy to install. It cost about $70 to purchase. It replaced an existing reverse osmosis system in our kitchen. Why replace? The old system needed 3 filters replaced. Local company who are the local manufacturer's representatives quoted $500 for the set of 3 filters. I said "You must be kidding". They were insulted and said "no we have the best home water filtration system in the business". Their opinion only. $500 for 3 filters. Installation extra? So I started looking on Amazon's website looking for a replacement system and found 3M's Filtrete system. Great. Already use 3M Filtrete air filters in my furnace. I am already a 3M fan as in a previous career I was a senior assembly plant buyer for Ford Motor Company and 3M was, probably still is a major supplier of many products to all auto manufacturers. I was at Ford for 10 years and I can't ever recall any 3M shipments ever being rejected for quality issues and 3M always delivered on time. My personal opinion: 3M are among the greatest companies on the planet----not just for the Automotive Industry but for home products as well. I've never ever been disappointed by a 3M product,

Super easy to change out

I find this product expensive (must be changed every 6 months), but it's still an affordable alternative to having my lead pipes replaced! The instructions for the kit are confusing, but once it's in, the replacement filter simply screws in!
