Great goggles; Some men need longer nose bridge

Great goggles, but some men will need a longer nose piece is the longest one is not quite long enough.

swim coach approved

Fair disclosure, I am a swim coach and mother to 5 competitive swimmers. Our team is sponsored by speedo so I ma more familiar with their products. As a swimmer myself, I spend more time in the water than is probably fair. Finis has a great reputation in swimming and these are cheaper than my normal speedo goggles. I was surprised that these goggles arrived in plastic bag packaging, unlike the speedo's protective cardboard and solid plastic. It is labeled that it is packaged mindfully to reduce waste, but given that plastic is not recycleable and the cardboard is, I'm not sure about that. These adult faces, ages 13 and up. My 13 year old swimmer found it a bit on the wide size. The nose pieces (3) can be switched out to accommodate different nose bridge sizes. In my experience the nose pieces and straps are the weak part on most goggles. These come with the plastic cords that tend to break but can be switched out for a bungee style cord. They have a silicone gasket that sits outside the eye socket, which most swimmers find the most comfortable. Once adjusted correctly we had no issues with leaking. They are advertised as non-fogging but we all know that does not exist. I do like that these have uv protection but it isn't labeled as to what amount. The are labeled as no drag . . . I would say they are low or reduced drag. Anything that makes a profile in the water can produce drag . . . although if you're counting the drag from your goggles you're faster than me! Made in Thailand.

short on durability for the price.

Mirror/white: has a fragile clear coat applied to the inside of the lens that scratches from merely making contact with your finger nail. Didn't even survive two wears before the googles became too blurry to see properly.

Fits perfectly

The fit is perfect. No leaking and shows everything crystal clear. Price is affordable. Nothing to complain about.

Reliable

Great basic pair of goggles. My teen likes to swim laps for exercise and says these are more comfortable than his last pair. Otherwise he doesn’t notice much about them. Sounds to me like they are doing exactly what they should with no problems. Inexpensive and reliable, double thumbs up.

Fit well, comfortable, tight seal

I got these to replace a pair that pinched my nose and they fit much better. The seal is tight and I can see well underwater. The lenses are a bit dark but that can be an asset on sunny days.
