This XL size is ideal for tea pots. Made with chlorine-free bleached, biodegradable paper. The filter can be sealed in the manner of a “tea bag” by folding the filling flap and closing it with any filter holder, e.g. piercing the filter with the Filter Stick. These tea filters can also be used without a filter holder as the filling flap facilitates the removal of the filter after brewing. Perfect for making tea bags with loose leaf tea
I get a wonderful Earl Grey loose leaf tea from a shop in NYC. I put the tea in these bags so I can use my Keurig to make a cup of tea. Also handy for taking my favorite tea on trips. These are the perfect size for a heaping teaspoon of tea leaves which makes the perfect cup of tea. I also think the price is fair.

Perfect teabags
Thin tall paper filter bags for loose tea with a fold at the bottom. They have no taste/smell, don’t break with normal use and make the spent tea leaves easy to dispose of. I use them in a tea strainer for a teapot where I can fold the longer side of the bag over the strainer edge to lock it in. This also makes the filling of the bag easy and clean.

highly recommend this genius product
I started drinking full leaf around 3 months ago before that I had been drinking pre-packaged tea bags for several years. When I first started to drink loose leaf tea I did what most people do, and bought a strainer metal filter. Metal filters were an excessive amount of work for a cup of tea it had to be washed meticulously (It's a ball infuser) and I couldn't even make chamomile tea(One of my staple infusions) because tea herbs would take twenty minutes just to clean up, plus when I brewed black tea several leaves escaped out of the ball and that simply annoyed me the strainer was of a high-quality brand called kusmi Paris which made me think that the problem was the brewing method itself and not the quality of the strainer . After the frustration of the ball infuser had made me go through for over a month of daily brewing I decided to pick an alternative. At first I considered a basket infuser or brewing tea from a small french press,but then all of a sudden I saw paper tea filters from the brand T-sac and heard incredibly good reviews on this method of brewing,but decided not to get that brand because they use plastic weaving in their bags and I always search for the most earth friendly and health friendly products. I happened to see these tea filters next and they seemed to be exactly what I was looking for free of plastic weaving, chlorine and true to the actual tea flavor . When they arrived I was a bit hesitant because of they don't have a drawstring or any other method of sealing. For a second I considered stapling the bag but decided to fold it first to see if it could hold up.I can tell you that this bag doesn't require of any stapling the bag holds the tea just fine if you make 2-3 small folds at the top. I've used really fine leaves and large herbal leaves and haven't had one single leaf fall out. The taste of the tea itself is better than when I used a ball infuser,and I will recommend this greatly to any loose leaf tea drinkers out there because its a way to have the best of both worlds bagged loose leaf tea.

Good teabags
I make about 10 cups of green tea at a time (for 2 days) and these bags filter well. They do sometimes break in a corner when I gently squeeze out the liquid but I never get leaves in the cup.

Tip for using these great bags
Not even much of a tea drinker but bought these after repeatedly struggling to clean tea leaves out of strainers. Also wanted something no-waste that I could throw in the compost bin. Loved the idea of these but for me, they wouldn't stay closed (I like to agitate the bags, for strong tea). Tried different methods of closing them (binder clips, staples) but they were a pain. Finally remembered I had some kitchen twine for trussing chickens and turkeys. Now I just cut a short length of twine and tie the bag shut. Whole thing goes in the compost once brewed. Nothing to clean and nothing is wasted. Perfect!

Identical to the Adagio filters; work well for loose teas with no additional tools
The media could not be loaded. These unbleached tea filters (made with abaca pulp, cellulose, and sealing fibre, whatever that is) allow me to enjoy my favorite teas without fiddling with strainers and such. I don't staple them shut or anything - I just fill them with a good amount of tea for my serving size (they are roomy enough for 1-8 servings depending on the tea), fold over the top flap and tuck it into the pocket where the tea goes, and microwave it in my cup of water. I expected to have to do something to hold the top closed, but the teabag rarely leaks out of that top flap. Every so often a leaf or two will escape, but it's not a big enough deal to actually mess with it. I love that I can pre-load them with loose tea so I can grab them and take them on the go. These are well worth the price and save me a lot of money, since a lot of loose teas, especially at ethnic or very high-end shops, are cheaper than bagged. One thing - I was surprised at the size of these filters. I had been used to T-sac filters and Teavana filters which were about 2" by 4". These filters are about 3" by 7". They work just as well for single-serve as the smaller ones, and these also give you the option of making a larger batch of tea, which I appreciate. Since they are the same price per filter as the smaller ones, I like that I can choose to use them for different serving sizes. If you're comparing these to the Adagio filters, I'd get whatever's cheapest. While Adagio says it's made of wood pulp and these have abaca pulp, whatever that is, they look, smell, and act identical, and it would not surprise me in the least to find that these are the exact same product in different packaging.

Great convenient option.
I love this size, easier to put my spoon in without spilling tea. I like making two cups of tea or more at a time. Would be too big for only a single cup, but could still be used. While I like my metal tea diffusers, I hate washing them constantly when I change up the type of tea I am drinking in a day. These tea bags are just more convenient. I don’t find that the tea tastes any differently because of the bags.

Always use tea leaf so these are ideal when making a mug of tea and I use the Finum tea filter holder so always safe to use with no mess

Very good for hibiscus tea
I was making big pot (4 cups) of hibiscus tea (lose flowers) and didn't want to use anything metal because tea is a little acidic. I took ceramic pot and found these tea bags. I purchased X-Large tea bags because flowers are rather big. These bags are so convenient! No mess in pot anymore. And I can use them again and again. These are very strong. Really good value for money.

Excellent Product
I've always used an infuser for my loose tea but always had a small amount of tea dust in the cup. With these filter papers they keep my tea clear and are so simple to use, plus I can recycle the paper once I've taken the leaves out for my plants. Very useful for filling with herbs in my cooking - great purchase.
