Keeps my thighs from chaffing

I needed something to prevent chaffing when wearing skirts/dresses. I came across this product and wanted to give it a try. My first impression was that it was a very light formula. I did not get any irritations from using this cream, it did not have a scent, it was comfortable and did what it had to do. I felt super comfortable the whole time and did not need to re-apply.

Be Aware That This Is Preventative - Not For After The Fact

Once you understand how this product works, it's actually quite good. When skin is being chaffed, it prefers to stick together and when forced to move against itself, creates a sensation that's kind of like rug burn. You know that already which is why you are here. This cream provides you with some glide so that the skin easily glides along itself. By doing so, you don't end up with all of that raw and painful skin. Do be aware that this is a preventative measure. Not for after the fact irritations, although, it does feel soothing. But if you are having that problem, it's probably ongoing and will help with future occurrences. All this does is create that glide which will definitely help to prevent chaffing. It will not stop any rashes or other similar irritations caused by your damp skin rubbing together that have already broken out on you, though it will soothe raw skin. Honestly, I would like this product even more if they introduced an anti-fungal into this cream. That way, you get the best of both worlds. That's something I need under my breasts and sometimes along my torso area. Instead of loading up with two different creams, if they combined the two, this could be a one cream skincare product working double duty. It seems clean and is probably good for most skin. Not much of a smell. I can't smell it once applied. Only when I put it on my fingers and take a sniff. Smells to me like plastic. Not bad though. Very lightweight and just something you won't be sniffing for the enjoyment. It is not oily or greasy at all, so no messes to contend with. I've not had it stain or damage my clothing, though keep and eye on that if using delicate fabrics. Don't really know how it will work with everything. I would make sure you wear some undergarments between your skin and outer clothing if you are concerned about such things.

Summer Savior - Anti Friction Creme

This creme feels like any other creme while being applied. It’s light weight and non greasy. As far as I can tell, there is no smell to it at all. I am using it on my toes where for some reason my big toe and the toe next to it have decided they need to rub on all my walks and runs. This friction is creating rough skin and sometimes blisters. The super mega summer heat has not helped things at all with this problem. So far I’ve been using this twice a day on my toes before am walk and evening run/walk and I am noticing that there seems to be less rubbing or at least less residual effects from the rubbing that is going on. I will continue to use this and hopefully it will aid in preventing a huge callus. Once it cools down a little, I also plan to use it on other parts to prevent the usual “runners chaffing”.

Acceptable at anti friction, underperforms at sweat protection.

This anti-chafing cream was underwhelming for me. I have hyperhidrosis and between sweat and friction my groin area and underarms can get pretty uncomfortable. This cream is a medium-thick consistency, little to no smell, and absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy. The anti friction effect is noticeable and effective at protecting against skin rubbing and also irritation from your clothes rubbing as well, but it's not super slick like if you slathered in body oil. Where I didn't notice much help was in the sweat department, as I mentioned my hyperhidrosis has me super sweaty and this didn't help at all. I had to check the ingredients and it does seem there is an antiperspirant in it but it may be at too low of a concentration to be effective for me. I prefer the instant and ample sweat absorption and anti-friction results I get with body powders over this cream.

works as well as a stick

I previously had used the Gold Bond anti friction stick, and it worked really well. I decided to try this cream. It also works well, although I think that the stick is a bit more convenient and easier to apply. I don’t often need a product like this, but it’s great to have when I do (ie at water parks.) I don’t know if I would buy the cream again (instead of a stick) but it does work perfectly well.
