Incredible and beautiful results

The media could not be loaded. There is nothing to dislike about this stuff! Correction, there IS something to dislike.............I dislike the fact that it took me YEARS before I stumbled across and discovered this fantastic product! I could have upped the price on my artwork by just adding a simple iridescent highlight, here and there!! ????

Must use OVER another pigment

These are darling! Great for delicate detail. Be sure to use the paint OVER pigment to get desired effect

I originally purchased these just to have fun with. Then, as I was renovating my storage shed, I decided I needed some wall art on it. So, I got these fun horses to paint with this Dragonfly Glaze. It takes at least 2 layers of the glaze to get good coverage. Three just to be sure. If you expect good coverage with one, you will be disappointed. The bigger ones of these are 30" across. I wound up sealing these a couple of times because they are hanging outside and I wanted to give them the best chance of looking good longer. Because of this, I used about 5 layers of Dragonfly Glaze. I still have at least half a bottle of each...and I put it on pretty thick. As you can see, sometimes the shift is a bit subtle because of the angle they are hanging. But, I really like the effect and now, instead of being annoyed by my old, ugly shed, I smile every time I come down my driveway and see what we've done and see the pretty ponies.

Magical effects to add a special something to your art.

I made a dark painting and felt it needed some zing. I use these paints and get very beautiful magical looking subtle effects. I suggest practicing first and using a thin brush. I can’t say anything negative about these paints they’re just gorgeous.

Shimmery, magical possibilities

I have yet to “mine out” the possible uses of these iridescent glazes but am very pleased so far. The four glazes do give four different results and a shiny, iridescent finish. The iridescence is more pronounced with a second coat but of course there is a payoff in terms of translucency. Fun experimenting!
