Beautiful color K659

I love the color, however the paint it’s self had to be filtered prior to use because the bottle I received had sat on the shelf too long. However, the paint setup and cured properly. I wish the manufacturers would date these acrylic paints.

It is good paint. Doesn't seem old. It's not too thick. I didn't have to thin it out like you would with the older paint that has been sitting for years.

Does not age like fine wine

The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, it is a thick paste(with NO pearlescence sheen whatsoever) not a smooth pearly acrylic. Wish I knew if it ever was a white metallic pearl :( ..at this point I couldn't say if it produces the effect advertised or not, I'm thinking that it's possible because folkart is a great brand, I love the metallic rose gold. That being said, you couldnt prove it by me concerning this particular color. BUT.. let's investigate the circumstantial evidence surrounding the poor quality of this paint.. 1...As there was no damage to the OUTSIDE packaging, and no paint leakage on the INSIDE packaging, let alone on the other items included in said package, then is it not possible that the dried paint on the bottle was there at the TIME of packaging. Was the paint aged to imperfection by the manufacturer? Or was it left to sit on a shelf next to an elf at the Point of Sale establishment to long? 2...There something very noticeably wrong about the bottle, aside from the visibly obvious paint dried around the cap rim and down the side of the bottle, the bottle was not pliable at all, qkinda similar to animal droppings in the snow, what was once was soft, is now ROCK HARD. 3...As you can see in the pic, the paint was a thick mass rising a good half inch over the bottle rim. Paint should not RISE when the cap is removed. The cap is not a rock, and this is not the 2nd coming! Add it all up?...1+2+3= you add it up, I've misplaced my abacus.
