Best Product for Applique and Other Fusibles
These sheets remain intact; the heat goes through the sheet; they come in a cool zip-top container that you can keep the sheet in; and they are very stable even if you use a hot iron. I have two of them now. In a quilting bee or at a retreat, it is absolutely necessary that you don't get fusible on someone else's iron or ironing board. Depending on how you cut your fabric and your fusible, there may not be any excess to get anywhere, but using these sheets just makes sure. You iron the fusible to the back of the fabric, using one sheet on top and one on the bottom. You can also just fold the sheet if you only have one, and move it around as necessary to get everything fused. If there is excess fusible, the excess fusible will adhere to the sheet. You can hold the sheet up to the light and see if there is any fusible left behind. The sheet will cool down in a minute or so, and then you can take a dry washcloth and rub the excess fusible off. You have to do this before fusing again, or the fusible on the sheet will get on the next thing you use it for. The excess fusible usually all comes right off with the washcloth, but if it doesn't, you can scrape it with your thumbnail, or with an old credit card, and it will definitely come right off. This process won't hurt the washcloth, either; just toss it in the laundry and it will be fine.

Pretty slick
The sheet does what it is supposed to do and protects fabric and iron from each other. It is pretty pricey for what you get so it had better last forever. It feels like a silicone baking sheet, but is way more heat resistant than a baking sheet. Don't ask me how I know. 4 stars because of the price.

It was wonderful. Just wish I had know of it long ago. It made it so easy to appliqué. Great purchase.

Great item
Pressing sheet is excellent - it's a silicone type material and I do starch my fabrics before cutting - no residue left on the pressing sheet. Didn't really want to spend the $$$ but glad I did. I've used it for some time now and very pleased with my purchase!

Saves my Iron from fusible messes, but cant use with steam so sometimes the fusible interfacing comes off.

Saves the iron
Good product, comes in handy. A must when using heat activated products. It sure saves having to clean the iron, or messing up the ironing board.
