I'M ORDERING MORE
I was looking for extra long straws and found these. I could actually use another inch or two because I use them in a tall drink bottle but these work fine. They are not thin or flimsy, they last a good amount of time and I haven't experienced any bad taste as I've seen stated in other reviews.

Good quality paper straws
I like these straws and the subtle taste, like old fashioned straws. They are long to fit inside a tall glass or thermos. Sturdy enough to use a second time. They are shipped in a flimsy box and not double boxed. The box arrives a mess, so you need to find something else to store them in. According to Amazon, the first box shipped to me didn’t make it and my money was refunded. I guess the box broke and it’s contents spilled out. The second order upon arrival I put them in a sturdier box for storage.

pretty good for a paper straw
Since I dislike the taste of steel and silicone straws and also want to reduce my plastic intake I tried these. I found this paper straw far more durable than the paper straws I've been offered at fast food places plus it barely tastes of paper at all. I was able to use one in my Crystal Light for several hours and refills, and it even stood up to my hot tea well enough to enjoy two large leisurely cups. You can't expect paper to perform like traditional plastic, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how well this straw does work.

Love it!
The straw is extremely well made. It doesn’t soften easily as other paper straws I had used. I also love the 10” length as it allows me to use on various drink containers without worrying the straw might be too short. It’s absolutely worth paying a little more for the fine quality. I leave some of these in the car and at work so that they are accessible wherever I am as my goal is to take care of our Earth as much as possible. So happy I’ve found Footprint Paper Straws!

Gives a BAD taste to the drink they are in
If I could have given a negative number of stars I would have!!!! I don't know about sturdiness or durability because I didn't let it sit that long in my glass. The straw caused the soft drink I had just opened to taste completely awful- it was a chemical taste! To be sure it wasn't just my soft drink that was off I dumped what was remaining out of my glass and poured the remaining soft drink into my glass and tasted that and it was just fine. So it was the straw!!! I'm all for doing my part to help save the planet with no plastic straws but if you can't make paper straws without them tasting as if they were chemically treated I won't ever buy paper straws again! I'm from the old times when there were only paper straws long before there were any plastic ones and they knew how to make them tasteless as they should be. It seems it's 60 years later and you should be able to find a manufacturer that knows how to make paper straws these days without a chemical taste to them?

Use Paper straws and help the environment
This is the best alternative to plastic straws and reasonably priced! It is sturdy for a day long usage. Each straw is wrapped in paper - very sanitary, and the box it came with is sturdy and beautiful. I strongly encourage the company to promote this product to restaurants, hotels and fast food stores.

Nice upgrade
These are excellent drinking straws. I wanted straws with wrappers to keep them clean. I did have to purchase a taller storage container. They're very durable & last a long time even in water.
