It states that it a costume but it I actually wore it to a jazz outdoor concert got a lot of compliments on it ..it was very comfortable. I ordered a small, it fit great!

Cute but the fringe will constantly get caught in the lining at the top

I was in a musical and needed a Flapper Costumer so I ordered this one and one from a different company. This was the costume I decided to use on stage. The fit was great and I felt amazing in it. I got a lot of compliments about it but the one thing that annoyed the living bajesus out of me was whenever we did a dance number, the upper layer of fringe across my chest and back would flip over and get caught in the straps on the shoulder or under the hem of the chest/back area so I would have to covertly pull it out when I had spare time. I know with fringe that is bound to happen at some point but just wanted to give a heads up incase you plan on using it for the same purpose.

Read Sizing Reviews Before Purchase!

Okay. Halloween costumes almost always run small. If you're like me and order stuff online, it's always a gamble when choosing sizes. I read through all the reviews and everyone said the M/L was WAY too big. But I thought I'm a size 8, there's no way I could fit in an XS/S. I'm 5'6 145lbs.. wide hips. People were saying they were a size 2 and the XS/S fit prefect. So there's no way I'm gonna get my size 8 butt in a size 2 dress, right? WRONG! I got it in and it was just right! I was so relieved (and pretty ecstatic to be back in an XS) The dress is short, but it's Halloween. It's supposed to be. I wore silk black shorts under it so nothing showed with a pair of tights. The tassles go all around the dress. I'm a C cup and the chest fit perfect. I had room for the ladies, and it wasn't trashy or low cut. The gold lining was really cute. Very nice comfortable material. Honestly, I couldn't have been happier with this purchase. I hope this helps anyone of the fence of buying this, JUST DO IT! I got compliments all night. I'm 27 and this was definitely my favorite Halloween costume I've ever had.

Perfect!! Couldn't find anything in stores...

I needed a 20's dress for my husband's work party. Tricky thing was, I needed a semi-conservitive dress and that's hard to find in this style! Actually, it was hard for me to find anything in our local party rental stores that wasn't too big or too short. Thankfully, this dress fit perfectly in the XSM-SM. I'm a size 0 in Old Navy for pants and a small to extra small for shirts. I'm 5'5", 122 pounds. It's not snug but it's not too loose, I still feel pretty in it! It hits about two inches from my knee (standing up). There are gold accents around the neck that are hard to see in the picture online but look nice in person. I can wear a normal bra in it and it doesn't show, which is a huge bonus. And it cost much less than the ones I saw in the store. The feather is not glued on which is interesting but it stays put. I may glue-gun it to the head band. I think they may have done this so you could wear the band on your leg, as a garter. Overall, clutch dress (of course, I waited until the last minute!) that I'm very happy with for the occasion.

The XS/Small is a great size for maybe a teenager or very petite woman

After reading many reviews, I came to the conclusion the dress runs small prior to ordering: WRONG! I am 5'3" and 120lbs and a small fits snug on me (it is doable, however it should be la little loose as that is the dress style)! If you have a chest/bust to fit into this dress (for reference I am a 34C), you are going to have to size up. Problem there is a Medium/Large is gargantuan on my small frame. And yes, the dress runs short! The XS/Small is a great size for maybe a teenager or very petite woman. Medium/Large did not fit on my friend who is a size 10, again since she has a large bust to fit into the dress. So yes, this is a hit or miss item. Overall costume quality is what you would get for the price.

Cute but had to alter slightly to fit

I ordered the medium and it was a good length but it was so big on the sides and the arm holes were large. I had to pull them in and sew just for it to fit me but it worked! I am 5’8 and about 150 lbs. The tassels fell out so you have to be careful but I didn’t have issues through the evening. It was really cute and worked exactly as I needed it to!

Fun costume

It is a costume that fits a little big. But it looks great on. Plenty of swing with the fringes. The feather is not attached to the headband so must be sewn on yourself.

Fits nicely. Very short though! Just covers my bum. All pieces came as advertised. Super excited to wear it to an upcoming party.

Fit is just too random

I got a XXL and it was too big for me. I got an XL but it was too tight. I am closer to a size 14 and have wide hips, 38DD bra size. This costume was a pain, beautiful but a pain to get it to size right. It was nice and I am sure if someone fit into it, it would look great but I was just really disappointed

I won a costume contest with the dress. It was not see through. I did not get static cling. The tassels were not randomly dropping off.
