More than just reading glasses
I have three pairs of these classes and could not be happier with my purchase. Having tri focal capabilities, these are far more versatile than your typical reading glasses. In fact, I wear contact lenses and use these glasses as my back up, avoiding the high price of a pair of prescription glasses. Considering the low price, I bought three of these, keeping one pair in my backpack, one pair in my car, and one in the house. These are durable, look good, and function great.

Like the fact they are “No Line” bifocals
Like the fact they are “No Line” bifocals! Like the metal frame, shape and polycarbonate lenses. I can only see clearly out the bottom and middle of the lense; NOT the TOP! You need to make them without strength at the “interacting” (top) of the lense.

Love the purple color and the spring hinges. Comfy with a great fit, a little bit heavy
I bought these to replace an old pair of Foster Grant readers. I specifically wanted glasses with spring hinges, metal frames and straight sides that don't dig into my head. Like the older ones, these glasses are well-made, sturdy and are very easy to see with. I like the multi-focus feature, which keeps me from having to look up over the top of the glasses to see things at a distance. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They are heavier than cheap glasses, but that's fine with me, because they're also sturdier and will last a long time.

Great right after cataract surgery
Needed something to get me through until I am able to get a present after cataract surgery. This was a perfect balance to be able to craft until then.

The Multifocus Work!
I bought these as a temporary pair while my prescription glasses are being fixed. They work so well for computer work and reading that I may not need to buy prescription glasses anymore. The far distance also works, but I prefer just to take my glasses off.

Inexpensive with drawbacks (compared to prescription lenses)
I have a pair of prescription readers, but needed to up the magnification. Trying to avoid a costly lens replacement I tried these Foster Grant's. Unfortunately, I still prefer my old glasses to these for 3 reasons: 1. These glasses do not have a high-quality anti-reflective coating. Accustomed to ARC, I found the glare on these is uncomfortable. I kept trying to clean the smudges, which turned out to be reflections. 2. These lenses have a slighty rosy tint. (Nothing against optimism, but prefer the metaphor to actually seeing pink everywhere.) 3. The "fish bowl" effect is noticable when using these at the computer. In my peripheral vision, my monitor looks warped. Unfortunately, at only 2.0x correction, the distortion at the middle and top of the lenses requires me to peer over them anytime I want to look over my reading. On the upside, the purple frames are very nice and fit me well.

Work great for me
The only difference between these and my prescription glasses is the price and the glare. Saved $225 by using these instead of buying a replacement pair of prescription glasses. Great deal.
