Senior in High School tested
Our soon to graduate son has put this back through it's paces, and it is holding up admirably. Everyday he tosses it, crushes it, shoves it in a locker, rips it out, and God knows what else, yet there it is, taking everything he can throw at it. I am glad to have finally found a decently priced backpack that will hold up to the rigors of high school life. Wish I had found this years ago and maybe I would've purchased only 1 vice the 2 a year we had been averaging. Great product.

Bag not as resilient as it seems
When I first bought this bag it seems very sturdy and battle tested, but naw 6 months later it's falling apart. The material seems strong, but the stitching is not. I have a huge hole forming on the bottom of the bag. I had to buy a different bag rather then pay to have this one fixed. Bought The North Face Surge Backpack. So far it's a much better bag. The profile on the Fox Outdoor is not very good either. It sticks out very far. Which for me (using the bag for work, commuting on the train)this can be very bothersome.

Great Transport Pack
Great Transport Pack, the rubberized bottom helps when the pack is set down on a wet surface, lots of pockets and well made. Great for keeping your gear organized. Bought this for my son who loves it.

Good For Overhead Carry On
We used to use a regular backpack for carry on luggage but this has many more pockets (and hidden pockets) and compression straps that make it far superior to a book bag. There is a hidden pocket in the back you can store your passports and paperwork so they don't get lifted and other exposed pockets so you can store other items without going into the main bag. There are also molle loops to attach other items (Tac-Tie, BlackHawk clips, biners, etc) if you want to expand the bag. Check with your local carrier but FAA carry-on says dimensions of Length, Width, and Depth should equal 45 inches. Very light, very solid, compression straps help all around. Chest strap and waist strap help when you're running to catch your connection.

Nice pack, but the stitching kills it
So I bought on of these looking for a solid day pack to use during my orienteering course in New Mexico with the Civil Air Patrol. I wasn't expecting an indestructible model of modern technology. However after a day of use I'm pretty disappointed with the quality. Not only did the mesh pocket inside the main pouch tear, but the stitching for the actual shoulder straps has started to come undone. I haven't bothered to put more than 20 pounds in it as of now, nor have I abused it beyond taking a quick jog. It's Unfortunate that the stitching is bad, because I actually like the way it looks, the level of comfort offered by the adjustable straps, and the various other features it has. I could easily fall in love with a high quality version of this pack. However, I couldn't recommend this product to anyone.
