Not For All Home Kitchens
This review is for the large oversized rounded spatula. ***** QUALITY Overall this spatula is thick and can hold a reasonable amount of weight. The stainless steel is not polished smooth. It has a brushed steel look. I would recommend to hand wash only. Not that it would rust, but a combination of some dishwashers/detergent can leave spots on this type of stainless steel. I am dinging one star because the handle could be of better quality. See photo 3. It is a type of low quality hard plastic that is on the cheesy side. As photographed by another reviewer the handle can easily melt if it comes into contact with hot cookware. ***** BEVELED EDGE There is not much of a bevel to slide under the object being cooked. The spatula is thicker than I expected. I did not notice a thickness measurement on the Amazon product page. A common thinner metal spatula does not need a beveled edge. I can understand the minimal bevel because due to the thickness of the metal. It would be sharp just like a knife if was made to easily slide under food. I believe over time this spatula will excessively scratch most home cookware due to the force needed to slide under the food being cooked. This spatula would be great for use on a BBQ grill of commercial kitchen grill. Other uses in the home could include removing large or wide cooked objects from a pan such as enchiladas, etc. For the beveled edge see photos 4, 5 and 6. ***** MEASUREMENTS For a breakdown of internal measurements see photos 1, 2 and 3.

Heavy duty
Very strong and stiff. Not what you want if you expected flexibility. Seems high quality and expect it to last

14 inches LONG
I bought it for turning pizzas in my Ooni, but the head is only like 6 inches wide. It may be good for pickup up meat out of the smoker, so I'll keep it.

Sturdy, well made
I bought these to use on the outside griddle. Works so well. Handle is big enough for a man's hand. Metal is sturdy. No regrets

DO hand wash to ensure against corrosion, but good turner
I use this on a cast iron griddle for eggs and sausage each morning and an occasional burger. I usually hand wash since I use it so frequently but my husband has the unfortunate tendency to just throw everything in the dishwasher. The last time out there were rust spots around some little dark flecks where corrosion started. Rust stains comes off w/ barkeep’s friend or other ss cleanser (as in pic) so it’s not a big deal. But this is not All-Clad you are paying for here so don’t expect marine-grade SS corrosion resistance. Note: if hubs puts my All Clad in the dishwasher I’m gonna punch him in the throat. Kidding/not kidding. :D

Not perfect for pancakes. At least, not ALL of my pancakes.
I have a cast iron griddle and have been making large pancakes with it (I use a full ladle to pour the batter). I put two pancakes on the griddle at a time, and was looking for a spatula to turn the pancake. This item is described as "Perfect for cookies, cakes, small pizzas and pancakes", and so, I figured it would be great. I am not sure how people find this perfect for pancakes. For me, the spatula pushes the pancake across the griddle. If I were playing pancake hockey, this thing would be awesome. (Pancake hockey is where you push large pancakes across the griddle, trying to smash them into other pancakes or the end of the playing field/griddle). I thought that it was my technique, and that I needed to be more decisive in sliding the spatula under the pancake. So I tried a quick push and while I did not slide the pancake, I wound up wrecking it. So, I went back to being gentle. And the best way I have found for using this spatula is to use a wooden spoon to act as a backstop against the pancake. Then, the spatula slides right underneath the pancake, so that it can be turned easily. What I like most about this spatula is that if you flick it with your finger, it sounds like a tuning fork. Maybe it works better for "heavier" pancakes. In fact, I bet it would be just fine for a heavy pancake. Fortunately, my pancakes are very light and melt in my mouth. Unfortunately, this means I can't use a heavy metal spatula to flip them, unless I use the backstop. Edited: 6/26/14 I have been using the spatula for a lot longer now, and find that it is doing a better job. If I had to guess, I'd say I was not using it properly earlier. If I press down harder on the griddle and slide the turner under the pancake, it does a much better job of getting under the pancake. This may be because the turner is "flatter" if some downward pressure is placed on it, so it makes it harder to push the pancake. Obviously, the pancake must be ready to turn for it be at its best. Sometimes a pancake batter bubbles nicely to let you know it is ready. But sometimes, when I make pancakes, the batter does not give such an easy "tell". I've found that when the pancakes do tell, they turn very easily with this spatula and it does indeed make it nice and easy to turn an overly large pancake. While big, it lays relatively flat, so if you have a drawer that does not have a silverware insert in it, it fits easily enough. You would not store with your silverware though, as it would not fit well with the drawer insert.

Great kitchen tool
I have purchased one of these for each of my adult children because of it sturdiness and versatility for baking or bar b queuing. Not sure how I ever cooked without it!!

Very sturdy. Just what I needed.
Bought this for using my cast iron pan in general and making smash burgers. Plastic and silicone spatulas bent too much to really squish the burger. This works perfectly for cast iron and pressing meats.

Useful
Running a Café is always hard work, and omelettes can be a nightmare when you flip them over, this spatula solves that problem

Strongly constructed but it developed little rust like spots
Too bad about the finish wearing so quickly. It seemed very well made otherwise, so if you don't care about spotting on it it's a good spatula.
