Solid Performance at a Fraction of the Price!
Let me just start by saying that I was not expecting how amazing these two nailers work. Beacuse of the price, I was expecting an average to above average set of flooring nailers, however they performed like champs. I used this set to install two different types of flooring- 3/4" Hardwood and 3/8" Strand Bamboo. My compressor used was a Bostich 135psi. The bigger gun, Freeman PFL618C, works best for hardwood flooring. I installed 1200 sq ft of 3/4" of hardwood without a single hickup. I used powernails 2" L-cleats and only rarely would it crack the tongue of the hardwood pieces. I mostly used a PSI or 90-100. It is a bit hard to when you get to the corners of the room so for that I used 1-5/8" brad nails on the smaller gun, PFBC940, to get the corners and the floor had no movement. It came out great. I had used the Bostich Flooring Nailer before and this Freeman was of the same build quality and performance at a fraction of the price. Make sure you lube it with the oil provided in the beginning of the project. Just 2-3 drops should do it when put in the. The smaller gun, PFBC940 is a multi use gun. It can be used as finish nailer or flooring nailer. (Side note: I have not tried the gun with staples). I used Powernails 1-5/8" brad nails for trim, moulding and bamboo flooring. I used it to install about 2800 sq ft of 3/8" strand bamboo, which is very strong. I nailed about 4-5 bards on each plank (about 6-8" apart). There was no issues in this project either. The small size of the nails and the high performance of the Freeman gun, made the project a breeze. Don't forget to lube the gun before starting the project. I recommend 2-3 drops of oil for each full day of use. I mostly used a PSI of 80-90 on the compressor. The small gun, PFBC940, also transformed easily to use as a straight nailer to install trim and moulding. I finished most of the house with this gun but then used a 2.5" nailer for some door trim that needed longer nails. I wish this gun would take longer brads for moulding and trim. Again, for this price as a set, its about 50% cheaper than buying them seperate. PFL618C is around 1/3 of the price of the Bostich, the most common among contractors. For the same price as renting a gun from Home depot for a few days, its worth buying this and using it again and again. It comes with a 7 year warranty so I feel confident this will last. I highly recommend this set.

Works beautifully
Usually use bosch but needed another spare set and figured to give it a try and I was surprised as this set actually worked a little better than my other nailers. We laid 500 sq ft of red oak flooring and every nail and piece sunk and was drawn in beautifully.

Commercial Contractor use rating
I’m a remodeling contractor for 28 years, my Bostich flooring staplers (which I really liked) were stolen so I needed to replace them. This product seemed to have good reviews plus for the same comparable cost this package included the smaller stapler which I also needed replacement. Though I have yet to use the small stapler, the larger stapler has been funtioning great! I like it

... used these on a job already and am really pleased with the quality of the guns and hammer
Have used these on a job already and am really pleased with the quality of the guns and hammer. I've been in the business of woodworking for over 40 years....so when I say they are good and worth the money....it comes with experience with the work as well as the tools. Can't go wrong with what they cost. Actually got rid of guns that cost as much as these do for the pair because I prefer them to the others.

Freeman combo
Great set for the price. I installed about 300' of Hickory which is quite hard and the cleat nailer never miss fired one time. Easy to load and use. Comes set up for 3/4" flooring with a 1/2" shoe included. The 18 gauge staples would not go through the Hickory. They bent and twisted instead. The gun works fine but the wood was too hard for the light gauge staples. Good purchase...

Works Well
Works well but the extender handle broke when I finger tightened it. I used it with the extender handle and it did the job but put a lot of strain on the lower back. Other than the pore design on the extender handle I was happy with the nail gun.

I really like the flooring nailer works very well,
I really like the flooring nailer works very well, I've used it with "L" nails and the staples 1-3/4" and 2" works well. the brad nailer wont work at all for me tried nails and staples just wont send them . I may have it set up wrong as there are no directions for it but I don't think that's the problem.
