Not as good as a power actuated gun
For old, hardened concrete, this is not a replacement for your Hilti or Remington stud gun. For tacking 2x bottom plates to the basement floor of new houses, this is the tool, you want. Not as noisy as a power actuated gun, not as much recoil and way faster. Needs a good air supply. Uses standard Hilti or Remington nails.

Absolutely fantastic!
I tried a few alternative methods of driving nails into 50 year old concrete with no success. So I had my doubts about this Freeman nailer. It works! It works! Even 3" nails were easy to drive in with a few extra shots of air. This nailer is truly a game-changer. I wish I'd come across it sooner.

Honestly impressed
Works great, uses only a bit more air than a framing gun and drives with so much force! Like break your bones force. Driving them with 150lbs of air and it's got the kick of a shotgun. Definitely worth the money, so much faster and easier than a Ramsey, even the gun one. Would buy again. Only ran it 2 half days so far, will update if it fails.

works great not too powerful
Replaced my Ramset which keeps breaking after a few months. I'm a contractor and use this for work. Saving $ on Ramset bullets so purchased this gun and for the price is great. I find it not powerful enough to drive the nails in too deep. Seems like it can only drive them 1/2 way in but does the job and does the job quicker.

Don’t get your hopes up
Does not work well. Approx 1 or 2 out of every 10 nails you shoot, end up holding. Not enough power it seems like. You also need to have a solid grip on the gun when shooting them in. Any recoil you allow takes away from the penetration. Cheap gun but not worth the stress. Stick with gas or powder actuated. If you do end up buying it I recommend Simpson strong tie nails over the Ramset brand
