Hard to remove without breaking robots!

These are cute. I am not very experienced in molding chocolate at all and have very little experience. I have used smaller molds without difficulty. I encountered problems with the legs breaking off. I was only able to get a couple out without damage. I'm not sure if it was my inexperience or a design flaw. I reattached legs with melted chocolate and used them anyway. They were for a grandson's birthday cake. Of course he ate them and was happy.

Worked great,only a few legs lost with chocolate/candy molding.

Style: 6 Cavity Robot Mold I bought this to mold chocolate in for a Valentine's Day project. I don't think much needs to be said to a potential buyer except: It needs a stable flat surface underneath for storage and transport while sitting, it will not stay stable on it's own. It is easy to clean, do not use cooking sprays or oils, the chocolate will lift out, as will other dough based molds (We have tried.) Where the legs meet the body the robots kept wanting to snap, we had 1/3 robots missing a leg on our first 2 molds. You may with to set the mold in a shallow warm water bath for just a second to release easier at those points, or go really, really, really slow if working with stiff molding candy/chocolate. The size of these robots are about 1.5" in length, with the little gear winders being just shy of 1".

Good quality, didn't work for what I needed

I purchased this to make crayons to go in favor bags for my son's robot-themed birthday party. The quality of the mold is great, but it did not work for what I needed. It may have been user error, but I tried a few different ways with not much success. The keys came out fairly easy, but every single robot broke when trying to get them out, usually at the arms, legs, and neck. Since the crayons did not turn out, I thought I would use the mold to make ice, but after washing the mold multiple times, there was always a white-ish film on the mold.

Great detail in the mold

Love this candy mold. It's perfect and so easy to use. Haven't tried it in the oven yet but for my immediate purposes, I've used it in the fridge, and the candy molds came out great!

Great for Gummies

These worked beautifully for making gummies. They came out of the molds perfectly every single time. I could not get them to work as well for making chocolates but perhaps it's because I don't have a lot of experience with chocolates. I'd order these again in a heartbeat for gummies though.

Robot Silicone Mold

The robot silicone mold works just as advertised. The product was very easily removed with a few twists of the mold. The robots are pretty cute too!

Super Bonitos!

Es un molde pequeño pero funcional. Lo recomiendo para hacer chocolate, pero hay algunas partes que son muy delgadas, por lo que hay que tener cuidado cuando se desmolda, pero nada grave. Quedaron muy bonitos. Al inicio lo intenté hacer con hielo, pero ahí si se me rompieron al momento de desmoldar. Aún así, lo recomiendo ampliamente.
