Tools required for assembly: drill with 5/32" bit size, tape rule, pencil, phillips head screwdriver, two 7/16" wrenches or sockets. No drilling into outdoor wall or siding; two screws secure the unit at the window sill for a easy indoor installation. Built-in bubble level to guide proper angle for condensate runoff. Adjusts to fit walls from 4" to 11" (10.1cm - 27.9cm) thick. Galvanized steel air conditioner bracket supports window air conditioner units up to 160lb (72.5kg), about 12,000 to 24,000 BTU, by transferring the weight of the air conditioner to the support bracket.

won't work well with replacement windows

First off there are aftermarket brackets that don't come in a Frigidaire box that are half the price. Nice design, unfortunately with my replacement windows there were not enough shims to raise the bracket up to a almost level position even when the pivot bolt was put in the closest hole. My window sill is tapered so that made everything worse. I was able to put wedges underneath the air conditioner to make it work as designed.

Works as advertised, but fasteners are subpar

Works as advertised. But cheap screws. Use caution when driving in screws the silver screw snapped in half And one of the other ones the head stripped out.

Received a used, damaged bracket.

Since this is a Frigidaire bracket, I had high hopes for it, but unfortunately I received a used, damaged product with poor instructions. Since we had an immediate need for the bracket, we had to overlook the damaged paint, wood in the used screws, and broken level. It's installed and we're crossing our fingers that it will come out for the winter—the screw heads stripped easily.

Doesn’t work with Frigidaire 15,100 BTU AC

I don’t know anyone who has a two inch exterior window ledge. It’s just non functional. The AC we purchased came with sarisfactory brackets. This was a waste of time and money and didn’t even work with the Frigidaire we purchased though Amazon recommended it. Don’t bother.
