Damaged

First, I would like to say that I love these sunglasses and would give the sunglasses themselves 5 stars. I purchased them to replace a pair that I lost and was thrilled to find them on amazon. When I received them, there was a 1" vertical scratch on the right lens/ frame. When I looked more closely at the packaging, I saw a matching slice in the plastic bag they were inside of. It looks like someone wasn't careful when opening a box and sliced right through the packaging and glasses. Assuming this was a fluke, I returned that pair and reordered. The second pair arrived with an even larger scratch in the same place!!! I don't know if these are damaged goods that amazon is trying to sell, but there is no mention of these being seconds or anything other than brand new glasses. Quality control is seriously lacking. It's disappointing because I really love these sunglasses.
