LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE BOWLS!

Although originally I thought these were a bit pricey, they were well worth the purchase. The bowls are the perfect size and the melamine is thick and sturdy. Also the finish which is very shiny, is holding up well with use - even with dishwasher cleaning. And we use these bowls for so much more than pasta; they are the perfect size for main course and a couple of sides. My husband has Parkinson's and often struggles with meals. These bowls allow him to maneuver his food more easily with less mishaps. Also, I find myself using them for many meals that have "runny" foods (stews, Cajun-style beans, creamed corn, etc.). I highly recommend these bowls.
