Digital readout difficult to see

Overall the watch is outstanding. I was concerned about the lighting, and while it's not the best, you can see the hands. Don't bother with the digital in the dark. It's non existant. That's the only problem with the watch. The digital is a black background with white digits and you need to have your watch at a particular angle to read, and it's worthless in the shadows. The thick hands also cover the digital readouts. Improve the inadequate lighting and digital readout and this watch is a home run. Btw....amazon prime promises two day shipping, but took 6 days to ship. 1 star to amazon for slow shipping.

Analog watch that I can see in the dark.

My husband love this watch. It is self setting the buttons are big and it is easy to operate. This is a great watch for the money.

Difficult to read

For starters, I am a G-Shock guy. This is my third one. I love the different designs and features they all have. This watch is very durable and attractive. I don't ever take it off. It follows me to work, shower, sleep, lawn work, etc. I also swim with it on. I find it to be easy to set if you just follow the instruction manual. I love the black and red colors and especially love the double hook watch band. It makes it look more aggressive. With all that said, I do have 2 complaints with this particular model. The first one is that the time is not easily read. There's a lot going on with the face. And it can be difficult to tell time. It usually takes me between 5-10 seconds to figure out what time it is. The second complaint is the light. The light will only allow you to see what time it is. It does not light up the digital display. Therefore, if I want to see what the date is at night, I have to pull out my cell phone. I can't give this watch a 5 out of 5 simply because it can be difficult to read.

Almost a 5 Star product

I have been looking for a watch like this for some time, black dial, black background behind the digits, XL size looks really good and stands out nicely. This watch is used on a daily basis, to and from work, I like the many options that are available like the stop watch, you can also switch from viewing the time in digital format to date and seconds in the left window. Found that the LED light can be made to stay on for 1 or 3 seconds but also, you can make it so that the time goes on automatically when you turn your wrist to view the time (which was a nice find). Like I said this watch would be a 5 STAR but instead this is a 4 STAR becuase viewing the date or time can be sometimes difficult. I added some pictures to assist you in making a decision, but this watch is truely nice. You wont be dissappointed.

Best watch I've owned

This watch is amazingly cool. its got a lot of style and personality. Though its a great watch to wear on the go, i dont usually wear it when im relaxing at home like in bed because of its bulkiness. Though bulky, it still is very light and you might forget its on your wrist at times. The features are awesome like the analog legs being synched directly with the digital time, theres only two bad things i can say about the watch 1) The LED light is only good for dark scenarios and only the legs are visible 2) the digital display is pretty much only legible in daylight or a well lit area which knocks it down a star for me. Regardless of the light, I've been obsessed with my watch since i got it, and ill definitely be buying another g-shock in the near future.

Rugged and tough

Just as i had imagined

I got this product as promised (i had opted for 2-day shipping). The best part was that the watch is just as i had seen on the website. its wonderful and its become a part of me (ase m always wearing it!! ) Its just the watch i needed, shows the time and is funky looking. The things that could have been better are the digital display, which is not visible in low-light conditions. The LED is also very ordinary, it does not illuminate the digital dials.
