Fits true to size and actually helps!

I have degenerative disk disease and my posture is really bad. This brace helps correct my posture but is also comfortable to wear. It’s easily adjustable and doesn’t make you sweat.

Good build quality, could use more back support

As an artist and a student for the past few years, I spend a lot of time hunched over a desk. It has only gotten worse since working from home - now I spend a lot of time doing work on my couch as well. My posture has never been great, but it has not been helped by my circumstances recently, so I decided to give this a shot. Right away, I want to talk about sizing. I wear a women's 16/18 and got the XL and it is a good fit. No complaints there from me. As for wearing, it doesn't have instructions as to what should be adjusted first. I slipped it on like a backpack, then fastened the main waistband, then did the smaller waistbands, then I tightened the shoulder straps. It works just fine for me this way, and I found putting it on to be pretty intuitive. As for construction, it is very well-built. The material is nice and thick, the stitching is well-done and sturdy, and the shoulder adjustment clasps hold firmly. I was worried about some of the tightest areas being fastened with velcro, but the velcro holds well and it doesn't come undone. One other reviewer mentioned a smell, and it does have a bit of that gym-equipment scent to it. It isn't particularly bothersome to me, and it does seem to be fading as I leave it out. It certainly is worth noting though, so be wary of this if you are sensitive to scents. One thing I wish this had was a stronger boning in the back area. I find that it definitely helps my back posture, but a stronger boning would make a lot of difference as my back does still roll over a bit in this. The main area of posture correction here is the shoulders, which is fine with me as my shoulder posture is atrocious. That being said, because this pulls back on your shoulders constantly, it can start to dig in by the armpit area and get a bit uncomfortable after extended wear. Overall, I'm happy to have this and it helps with my posture immediately upon putting it on. Despite its quirks, I think it is a good posture corrector and I am happy to have to wear while working.

Nice quality supporter with good stitching, no sharp edges, and light weight

The stitching is done very well on the supporter no loose threads, even lines, and nice rounded corners much better than the supporters you find at the big box retailers. The neoprene is good quality reminds me of my diving equipment but at a much better price point. The supporter is comfortable around the waist and back but I wish it had a front strap to keep the shoulder straps from digging into the arms as they are fairly narrow in width (see third picture of shoulder strap). I would have given it five stars if it came with an optional front chest strap to place the load on the chest instead of the shoulders. The Velcro piece stitched to the belt is fairly small usually on the belts with velcro, I like a big patch so over the long term as the sticky parts starts to wear the belt doesn't slip as easy (see first picture). I tried wearing the supporter while doing things around the house but after a few hours the shoulder straps were a little uncomfortable. If you loosen the shoulder straps to keep from digging into your arms it doesn't support the back or your posture as well. It's a well made back supporter with a little strong glue smell that goes away after you wash the garment. The back supporter is good for light-duty or a few hours of wear at a time, but because of the narrow shoulder straps it becomes uncomfortable for me. I am 5' 11" and around 200 lbs and I had the L/XL size supporter.

Posture correction

Works well to help with posture correction, but can get uncomfortable to wear over a period of time. I definitely recommend wearing a t-shirt under to keep the straps from rubbing.

Awkward fit

I got this for my husband. He has a degenerate disk problem and was hoping better posture would help relieve some of the pain. Even though this is one size fits all, he was having trouble getting a comfortable fit, so doesn't use it as much as he should.
