Good for kids who have strong math skills

I bought these for my kids, hoping to encourage number recognization as well as beginning of their math skills. However, it just didn't work for them. There was more frustration than anything. The dice are a weird shape, which slightly makes it hard to figure out which number you rolled and which application (subtraction, addition etc..) to use. We ended up just using foam dice from the dollar store. I would recommend this for a child that already has strong math skills and can do multiplication and division. They would probably really enjoy this and it would be a fun way to strengthen their skills.

We loved it until it fell apart

So we loved this product.... at first. I have 2 kids and am a teacher and they enjoyed playing with it to practice their math facts in the pool. What a win! But after using it twice in 2 days, it is already ripping and the numbers are fading. As a pool toy, it needs to do better than this. It was tossed in the pool too, not on the concrete.
