Fits Lowes buckets

Bought these to store dog food in. They're feel pretty durable and well made. I put them on Lowes blue buckets as well as some old 5 gal buckets I had around, they fit pretty securely to both. I took the lid off, started at one end until it snapped in place and worked around the edge until it all snapped on. I did it by hand and didn't need a mallet or anything like some of the other reviews said.

Works good but beware.

Fits tight. Very tight. So tight infact I had to use a quick release clamp to finish the last portion of the mounting ring. Used a lowes 5 gallon hand mounted the ring till last 8 inches. Had to use a clamp. Clamp worked great. Id buy it if youre handy. If you arent a diyer i wouldnt bother.

Don't use a Lowe's bucket with this product

Some reviews say that you can use this lid with a Lowe's bucket, but I would recommend against it. I would recommend purchasing a bucket specifically for this lid or a lid/bucket combo. Longer story now: I thought I would save money by using a Lowe's bucket. I tried to get the ring on by sitting on it, standing on it, hammering with a rubber mallet, etc and eventually gave up. I then ordered a 3-pack lid/bucket combo. I was able to snap three bucket/lid combos together without too much effort (if you don't have a strong grip you might have more trouble). Next, I tried again with the Lowe's bucket. I finally was able to get the ring around most of the bucket, but the last few inches were very difficult. I ended up using a short piece of 2x4 on the ring and hammered the end of the 2x4 with my rubber mallet. This finally got the ring on. But the ring may be cracked or damaged after all the effort. So I highly recommend against using this product with a Lowe's bucket.

Good quality … easy on

These Gamma2 lids went on my existing Lowes buckets in 30 seconds using a rubber mallet. I plan to use a few of these twist top buckets to empty my RV gray water tank in a proper receptacle within the campground. Lids keep water from sloshing out while driving to the waste dump. Much cheaper than the towable RV waste tanks. Just need a little elbow grease!

I love these lids

I bought them to seal moisture out of five gallon buckets that I used to store my pellets I use in my smoker! They are easy to open, and have never let moisture in. I leave the buckets outside and even in the rain, not one drop has gotten in!

Sturdy, great quality, secure when installed.

No complaints with product however hell to install. I suggest skip straight to stand on top and stomp into place method as seen on YouTube ????

Doesn't fit menards 5gallon bucket

If the top edge of your bucket is 12in in diameter this lid will not fit your bucket. Another customer posted a review about it not fitting his Lowes bucket, and it didn't fit my menards bucket... so I'm assuming it just doesn't fit most standard sized 5gallon buckets that you get from hardware stores. The diameter of the top edge of my menards bucket is 12inches so I'm assuming any bucket with 12in or greater top edge diameter will not work with this lid.

Fits perfectly

Original Gamma lids and fits my Auto Rae-Chem 17ltr car wash buckets perfectly. Did the seat test on these lids and happy to say it held up my 80+ kg frame. All is good.

Not fit for purpose

Does not seal securely, The Gamma seal is meant to be robust and protect against leaks. I had water leaking from the seal which is used for a wash bucket.
