These are the most powerful and well made loppers I've ever used. Instead of straining and fighting, now cutting is a pleasure

Okay, I just got my new Gardena limb loppers in the mail and I have to say these are very light weight 20" inch loppers that cut just awesomely and look and feel very well made. I will be using these loppers to chop up small limbs to bite sized pieces so I can easily put them into my solo stove titan. These loppers do the job of making small firewood much faster then my knife, hatchet or hand saw. I already had two other loppers, but they both don't have this pivot gear system. So I wanted to see just how much better these Gardena loppers are then the loppers I already have and these Gardena loppers cut vastly easier then my loppers that don't have this pivot gear system. My other loppers have much longer handles then these Gardena loppers and I was thinking the length of their handles would have much more leverage power to cut easier then these Gardena loppers, but I would be extremely wrong, these Gardena loppers with their shorter handles have WAY MORE cutting power from their pivot gear system then my longer handled loppers. Buy and try them and you'll see what I mean, it's just incredible how much easier these Gardena loppers cut though thick hard branches then my other loppers. good and strongly built/

I won't buy anything tools wise except German made if I have the option - only stuff that seems to last these days. Haven't tried this yet but look forward to it. I bought this based on the 25 year warranty. Product was wonderful while it lasted but has flaw in the design. There is a protective cover over the blade which they drilled a hole through for the screw. It is at this point the blade eventually broke. I have been trying for 2 months now to get the item replaced. A long time to be without if you have fast growing shrubs. Company claims they will replace so maybe it will arrive by next summer.

I have used this lopper over the last few months. Where others would have bent or dulled by now, this holds true. Also, there is no strain on me; not on my elbows, shoulders, or neck (depends on position I have to be in to make cut). I have 4 Gardena hand held tools and they all work very well.
