Don’t buy

It worked well the first time I was using the bbq, then I started having problems with my bbq, I would not being able to start the burner sometimes. Then 2 burners stopped working, bbq would not reach more then 200 degrees. Thought the bbq was too old. Bought a new one, same thing on the new one. Then I read online, people having issues w these gauges. I took it off both BBQ and they are BOTH working well now. The return period has passed unfortunately so it was pretty much throwing my money in the garbage with this purchase. I would not recommend you buy it. Get a scale type gauge maybe.

Mostly works as it should.

Just like other brands I have purchased, this does not register a tank as completely full. The gauge tops out half way in the green zone for a full tank. It does show slightly lower as the tank level drops and registers red when empty. As long as you baseline the gauge starting at full then you can make it work. Registers exactly the same as another brand I purchased, likely same product with different name.

Funciona bien y sirve para no quedarte sin gas

Se siente de buena calidad y materiales, funciona "bien", no da lectura exacta, solo te avisa tres opciones que tiene gas que ya tiene poco o que ya hay que rellenar pero no hay que esperar una medición exacta. Creo que es perfecto para bombonas de gas que se utilizan en calefactores o para el asador, donde no es urgente que siempre siempre tengas gas y tengas algo de tiempo para rellenar.

Performs appropriately

As was stated in previous reviews, because of the nature of liquid propane, a full tank does not register as full on the gauge. (hence the 3 star rating) However, I purchased this gauge mainly so I would know when the tank is approaching empty. I haven't had it long enough to verify, but I suspect that it will. It is adequate for the price paid.

Works, but not like a car gas gage.

This gadget is accurate in that you know that the tank is nearly empty and then empty. It does not show a step wise decrease in fuel though. I am guessing that this gadget measures cylinder pressure, and that due to the tank temperature fluctuations, it may appear fuller on hot days than cooler days.
