I actually REALLY like these!

The media could not be loaded. I was very against getting these as I've hated LED lights, but I will say I'm pleasantly surprised. I have them in my living room and back patio for soft candle lighting. Now the glass from the back patio Lights makes it more difficult to control but I just go up to sliding glass dooe and point my phone towards one light, also i go slow and it will catch up eventually. Now key for me is to remember to TURN ON SWITCH for the patio Lights,as I often turn them off before bed. We had bought some other brand but the app was horrible, however this worked perfectly and for someone like me who likes simplicity the app is great. HUSH.....don't tell my boyfriend but I want more of these!

Slow to respond.

I bought these to integrate with my other Google Home electronics, but these do not do well in this environment. Whenever I ask google to turn on/off the lights it tells me that the Cync app that controls the GE smart lightbulbs is not responding. Even when I use the Cync app itself it takes quite a while before the app will connect with the lights so that I can control them. I am going to be actively looking for a replacement. They work really well as regular LED light bulbs, but not as smart devices. Given the price point of these bulbs they are not worth the slow performance.

Okay, I'm sold on home automation tech.

I don't own an Alexa. And I don't have a lot of "smart" tech in my house. But I got some of these light bulbs, and it introduced me to the possibilities of what you can do with a little money and some free apps. Downloaded the Cync app, and connected to the devices via Bluetooth. Very intuitive how you connect them to your home network. Cool features on the app itself, but if you download Google home, you can use the Google assistant to control the bulbs as well. (Don't run both apps at the same time, it causes a conflict) With Google home, you can create routines based on scheduled times or voice que's... it's pretty wild how easy they make it. Some things you don't even have to program. Once you have all your lights added, you can simply say, "okay Google, turn the lights on." Boom the lights come on. They work great. Experiment with the commands. You'll be surprised how smart the app is.

I don't know what happened but now the lights I use in my living room will not turn off from the app.

I think part of the issue is my the distance between the router and a couple of the lights, but there are few connectivity issues daily.

Didnt notice the 120v :'(

I ordered and waited for these to arrive for 3 weeks. Shipping alone cost me a tonne. In my excitement I burnt through 3 of them on my 240v socket before I realised they are 120v. Lets just say I'm disappointed, this is something that should be prominently displayed.

Pack of 4 only 3 work

I really like these bulbs and would have left a 5 star review but only 3 out of 4 of them work. I don’t want to pack up all 4 and return them but for the price, I’m not going to take the loss.
