Works perfectly

Very easy to install. Did not have to remove the drum. Used my stubby little Philip screw driver. The opening it enough to put it your hand in.

You need BOTH

I know the description only shows one coil, but there are TWO in your dryer. One with a three-prong connection as shown and one with a two-prong connection. BOTH should be replaced at the same time. Reading down in the description I see "dual coil." NO, that doesn't mean you get both. My fault I guess. I assumed that at the price I paid I'd get both. After all, there is another seller that has both for a total of less than $3. Now I have to order the kit with both coils, and wait a few more days to get my clothes dry. This is the first time I've been fooled by paying more for Amazon Prime than for something that took a few more days to get here. My three-star rating isn't necessarily a reflection on the product, just on the way it's sold.

Great product at a great price.

Fixed my dryer issue not heating just as I had diagnosed. These were hard to install on my older dryer but would think much easier on newer models. I would recommend this product.

Not GE genuine part

This is not GE genuine part even though it states that it is in description. I had to order part from GE directly and image shows genuine part from GE vs received from Amazon. Amazon part came in clear plastic bag with label. Amazon part does not have any part markings. I would recommend to buy directly from GE.

this valve controls the gas flow in my general electric gas dryer . the orginal part lasted 11 years . this replacement valve was a fair price and installed easily with the help of my friend .
