Renewed colors and good protection.
Have used this before on my motorcycle gear. Uv really dulls the red and yellow colors on my jackets and helmets…which counters the purpose of bright colors to be seen in traffic. It really brightened faded colors in my goretex clothing and the vinyl in my tank bag and rack bags. My long term experience has been this greatly extends product use from uv damage. Small bottle but goes further then would think.

easy to apply
but only time will tell how well it works

Worked on my wreath
I did an experiment with different brands of UV protectant and this worked the best early on; however, after a couple months in direct sun, ended up fading. I guess my wreath needed to be sprayed with this at least monthly? Still it was better than most other brands!

This saved my girlfriend's Coach Boots!!!
UPDATE: One month later, I noticed that my girlfriends boots, were looking a little hazy again. I took a damp paper towel and wiped off any snow, salt, and dirt residue. With a slight buff using a dry paper towel, these came right back to how they looked following the restoration I did a month ago. See the last photo, for the most recent condition. This product is perfect. I got this to restore the original luster on my girlfriend's Coach boots. She got them last winter for Christmas, and this last fall when she pulled them out of the closet they were covered with a white film. After some research on the internet, I found that this was oxidation of the rubber, and it is pretty common. The way to treat it is with Hunter Boot Spray, which I searched for it on Amazon and found this product. I chose this product because the boots that I was going to use this on are only partially rubber, and partially fabric. I did not want to have to worry about overspray staining the fabric. Additionally, I didn't want to get in trouble with my girlfriend. Check out the pictures below that show the before and after photos. The instructions say to apply with a dry cloth, and to turn the cloth often. I found that there is a bit more to restoring your rubber products. First I applied the UV Tech generously to a couple folded up paper towels. At first when you apply the cleaner it doesn't seem to be doing much, but continue to rub it in while wet. I found that the more of the cleaner that I used the easier it was to get into all of the nooks and crannies, within reason. I repeated the process several times until it seemed that all of the oxidation was removed. As a final step I then took a clean dry paper towel and buffed the rubber to a nice sheen. The boots literally look brand new, and made me a superhero in my girlfriend's eyes.

Help your outdoor gear last a lot longer
This stuff is awesome. It would get five stars if the photo had matched what I actually received. At the time, the photo showed that this came with the squirt nozzle like my previous bottle did. It comes as it is now pictured, with just a cap. That is problematic because this stuff is hard to apply unless you spray it on. I had to buy a new generic spray bottle so I could apply it more evenly. That said, this UV Tech has kept some of my paddling and fishing gear looking like new after 5 or more years. I have a PFD that looks brand new after 7 years of sun and water exposure. It reduces drag slightly on boats so they slip through the water a little easier. It also protects the poly from breaking down. Use this on any plastic or nylon gear that gets exposed to sun, wind, and water.

Disappointed
Spraying an 8 person tent will require several bottles and I don't feel like my tent was protected enough

Should be applied when shoes are new.
We applied to shoes that showed some cracking, followed directions but will have to see over time if no further cracking occurs.

Super produit
Je suis vraiment impressionné, non seulement le produit protège contre les rayon uv mais il a redonne un éclat de jeunesse à mon auvent de pousette. La couleur noir a vraiment repris de l'éclat????la bouteille est petite donc fait pour une petite surface!

Appears to work well on fabric
We used this on a fabric sofa in full sun. It appears to work very well. The instructions don't indicate it can be used on fabric, but more than two months in, the product seems to have been a success.

you get a very small amount for the price
Very small amount for the price. Nothing special about it. Works the same as anything half the price. The photo was deceiving -- it's a 4oz bottle made to look like it is 3x the size. I should have read closely but for 14 bucks I was just assuming it was a reasonable size for the price.

Sehr ergiebig
