This is one tough work boot, which is why its foot-pampering fit may just surprise you. The Georgia Giant boot boasts the on-the-job features you need: a substantial, ankle-high design, protective steel toe, steel shank for stability, oil-resistant bumper, and traction-ready outsole. This dependable lace-up will also work overtime to keep you comfy with its cushioned insole, fatigue-defying EVA midsole, and moisture-wicking linings. Every item - right down to the last hard-working detail - can be traced back to 1937 when our passion for footwear was born. It started with a tough farm boot and a simple belief that boots should work as hard as the people wearing them.Thousands of styles and refinements later, Georgia Boot continues to do whatever it takes to give workers, farmers and hunters exactly what their feet are asking for. For every harsh condition on the job or in the field, there's a design from Georgia Boot to provide comfort and protection. Whoever you are, whatever you do, wherever you need to go. Look for multiple comfort features from Georgia Boot.

The reviews at georga boot are right! There is a bug in the manufacturing...
Well got the boots, put them on and was shocked at really how uncomfortable the left one was. The right one was uncomfortable, but I don't tend to mind a blister or two breaking in a pair of shoes/boots, if they are built well enough to last a few years. So, I tossed on _TWO_ pairs of really heavy work socks and took them for a 10 min walk. My left heel was literally aching for 30 mins after I took them off! To make a long story short, its not the stitching being blamed on the manufactures site, its the crappy Dominican Republic manufacturing which has cut/crammed the inner sole into the boot incorrectly. The hard bottom of the sole curls up against the back of the boot and into ones heel when its walked on. Its not really noticeable unless you press your thumb down hard against it and notice that it forms a really hard ridge that curls up and forward when a lot of pressure is applied. So, I got really large screwdriver and pretended I was tucking carpet against a baseboard and forced the hard lip down into the sole of the boot while checking it with my thumb until I didn't feel the hard ridge sticking up. Crazy difference, now they are actually quite comfortable with only one pair of socks. I attached a picture of part of the ridge sticking up on the right boot before I tucked it under too. I don't imagine to many people buy these things after trying them on in the store, its only us suckers buying mail order having this problem. The good news is that its easy to fix, and the boot seems fairly solid otherwise. That row of stitching probably could use a layer of fabric tape, considering that if it wears through the outer lip of the boot will come lose. I will update the review when I've got some real mileage on them.

Awesome. Very, very happy with these boots.
When I first received these boots I was worried that they were too tall for my liking. I started wearing them and realized they were perfect. I did a lot of research before I actually bought these because I wanted to make sure I would be able to use them and like the way they look for a very long time. For whatever reason, it was difficult to find very much information on these boots but I'm really, really happy I ended up going with these. PROS: - Beautiful design. The leather looks great, the laces look awesome, the sole is comfortable and incredibly durable, the stitching is strong. All of it looks great and is manufactured very well. This is not a cheaply put together boot. - I wore these through the entire winter and I didn't notice much wear and tear. The boots didn't stain from salt and they keep snow out flawlessly. - They look great with pretty much all of my pants that are not suit/dress pants. - I literally feel like a giant when I where them. CONS: - If I had to put something here I would say that lacing them is a bit annoying but it really only takes ~20-30 seconds longer than a normal shoe or boot would take to tie.

the silicone spray brand the would be recommended for the Georgia Boots
The boots fit well overall. The only issue I had was the heals were a little tight. After wearing them for a couple of hours a day for a week they have broken in well. I didn't see a preference on the shoe polish type or color, the silicone spray brand the would be recommended for the Georgia Boots. The main reasons I went with this brand was price and reputation. Red Wings boots are quality brand but way over priced. For the same ASTM type boot it was $100.00 dollars cheaper for the same quality!
