Works as described

The base is designed to be bolted to your existing umbrella pole so it does not include the "black pole" shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the bolt holes in the supplied base were not spaced exactly the same as my umbrella base holes which are approximately 4" apart. I had to ream (drill out) the inside edges of two of the holes in the base to get them to fit. The bolt holes in the supplied base are threaded with fixed spacing so are not adjustable at all. Once attached I filled it with water and had no leak problems. The price is the best that I could find for any similar product. It supports the umbrella and works as described.

Poor quality for water

Poor quality has a leak in it so water did not work. Contacted vendor and they wanted m to use sand. After some negotiation they shipped me a replacement. Vendor is fair to work with but the product is not meant to hold water.

Pole holder in the pictures is NOT included.

The black vertical pole holder shown in two of the five pictures and in the instructions is not included, which is very misleading. Since there is no pole holder, this thing is useless as a base for most umbrellas.
