BEST men's underwear ever!

Been searching long and hard (no pun intended) for men's boxers that meet my requirements. Have gone through various brands/sizes, so now I joke that I'm insulating the house with piles of boxers. These Gildan's fit the bill! Finally! 1. They should have a covered waistband! How hard is that?? Do I want elastic, even soft elastic, against my skin all day? No, I do not. It's incredibly hard to find covered waistbands (even in other Gildan varieties). With other brands, I'd cut slits in bands so they weren't so tight. Ugly solution! Or order a size too big, not great either. 2. No seam in the middle of the butt! Puh-leeze! This is also very hard to find. Who wants underwear riding up in your crack when you get up and down? Not me. Unless you want highly defined butt cheeks in your tight jeans. Again, not me. 3. Soft fabric. These Gildan's are thick and soft. Really huggers, which feels so good. I got the variety where some are all cotton, but the gray ones are, I think, half cotton. Equally soft and huggy. Never going back to the loose floppy briefs. Didn't think I'd like the huggy ones, but I do! Size is as expected. No shrinking of note, after several washings. Put in dryer on hot, but not super hot. It's been a search, but finally, the Grail!

I'd like to say I bought these because I dress in all black to be cool like Johnny Cash. My kids say I'm "emo" because I wear black all the time. They are unwilling to accept my explanation of the subtle nuances between emo, goth, punk, and metal heads... who each have their own unique affinity for the macabre. My dad always said "Never trust a fart after forty" and truer words were never spoken. I work in remote areas and bathrooms aren't always readily available. Sometimes I am 60 miles and one shart away from disgrace. These black skivvies help conceal any skid marks. My wife doesn't need any extra aggravation when doing the laundry. The boxer-breif fit is nice too. It keeps the frank n' beans snug. Also with age, Jimmy & the twins seem to bounce all over the place. This is a comforting fit without being restrictive. Amazon encourages reviewers to post photos. Trust me, nobody wants to see that.

Simple comfort

These aren't exactly the most stylish underwear, but the fabric is like a fine old T-shirt. Super comfort. The waist is at "classic waist" height (just under the navel,) which may not be to your fit or liking and the medium size I ordered was a bit loose for my 33" waist. The leg openings are fine and the crotch is both roomy and supportive enough, but the cut of the seat is a bit flat. The slim, wrapped elastic waistband is great and unlike any major brands, does not feel the need to emblazon someone else's name on my undies. The labels are discreetly printed inside with soft ink. A good pair of skivvies for a decent price.

10+ Year Fan

I am 6’4 and have weighed as much as 235 and as low as 205 and worn large through all the weight changes and have to say these boxer briefs are just fine. They seem to last well through washing and drying. I love the comfort of the band and the length of the brief down my thigh. Been a long time fan of this product.

Good product as long as you understand what you're getting.

I would like to state up front that I do like these. There are just a few things a perspective buyer needs to know first. These underwear are made with a great fabric. It's like a soft cotton, double thick T-shirt material. Stitching seems nice and heavy but not at all chafing. The covered waistband is very comfortable. Now for the bad stuff. There was some loose threads in the stitching on all pairs but, after several wears and washing the stitching isn't coming loose so it's just poor finish work. The style of cut for the seat area is not for an individual with a butt. It's pretty flat back there. If you've got some junk in your trunk you better not be packing much up front or these could get a bit uncomfortable. They are advertised as having a 6" inseam but they don't. As you can see in the picture it's 4 1/4". 1 3/4" on an inseam for underwear is missing a lot of inseam. These are a boxer brief but are closer to an in between hybrid. Not as loose as an actual boxer but not as snug as an actual boxer brief. I also feel it needs to be stated that in most all the reviews I read, it was stated that these run a bit small in the sizing. This is absolutely not the case. If anything they run quite a bit large for the size. If you are one whom felt these ran a bit small then you've been kidding yourself on the size you actually need.

Inconsistently the best…

These are by far the most comfy boxer briefs I’ve found. Fully covered elastic waistband is soft and doesn’t tend to roll. Beats the half covered “comfort soft” waistband on the leading brand. I’ve purchased many times and will continue to do so. HOWEVER, I’ve been seeing alot of loose threads and hems coming unsewn lately. Please fix this problem Amazon!!

My fiance needed these!

My fiance has a tendency to keep clothes even if they are ripped, has holes, and he doesn't even wear anymore. He likes these, pretty comfy I would say, I need to get him more to fully throw away his terrible ones lol he also looks great in them ????

Great

Gildan products always last longer than the competition. I've had Gildan shirts I've had to wear everyday for work for 5-6 years that still haven't even faded or worn out. These boxers seem like they'll share the same remarkable longevity that makes me keep buying Gildan products. The material is thick for boxer briefs, but still soft and not uncomfortable. Waistband rubber is tough, doesn't seem like it will wear out easily but it's soft on the skin. No complaints with these but I wish we could pick which colors we want rather than have to buy set colors. If I want black and green ones I shouldn't have to get white ones with them when I don't want white ones!

Only one problem

All round great fit and comfort. Love them!!! But, poorly made. Came out of the package with unravelling threads and continues with washing. I expect a short life.

Fits great, feels great, great price

Honestly I am a true XL and it fits great. I have big glutes and weight around 210lbs at just under 6'2. The feel is really soft and nice and the hug is just right on muscular thighs like mine. No weird rubbing, chafing or that looseness that causes riding up. Excellent purchase. Also pricing is great for quality and selection you get.

Good for the Price

They are nothing special, for sure nothing to look at thanks to their solid and conservative colours, but they are comfortable to wear and seem to last for a while.
