The Lyon collection is elegantly designed and features clean and smooth lines for a handsome 20-piece flatware set. The Lyon is cast (poured as a liquid) from 18/10 stainless steel. The stainless steel runs all the way through the handle and the rivets are actually part of the tang. The POM handle material is molded around the stainless and polished. The resulting product has heft and feels very comfortable in the hand. The stainless has a satin or matte finish. Available in ebony or ivory P.O.M. handles. Made for your life. Just what I wanted.

Very well made. I bought two(2) sets for everyday use. Throughout the years, I have lost forks, soup spoons and teaspoons. These are very nice. I agree that the teaspoons are small, however, I like that they are small. Smaller portions of ice-cream with every bite.

High Quality Daily Flatware

I've had stainless flatware for decades but the Chrome and copper plating on the handles always failed. I was concerned about chromium and copper getting into my food. This flatware is 100% stainless with a black composite handle that won't degrade. The flatware has a beautiful brushed finish. The composite handle and stainless rivets are very smooth and feel natural in my hand. The flatware is not stamped sheet metal but is actually cast and very strong. I particularly like the size of each piece and how comfortable and easy they were to hold. With the exception of the knife edge there were no Sharp edges on the handles, rivets, or edges of the stainless. The knife was sharper than expected and cuts with ease. The brand name is nicely laser etched on the back of each piece. I like these so much that I bought a second set to have service for eight.

Surprisingly nice

Very smooth and have a good weight. Like the shape of the utensils. I was pleasant surprised at the quality.

Well-made and gracefully designed

I bought this set to use with Certified International Firenze cream-colored dinnerware. They go together beautifully. The pieces are very nicely made, seamlessly constructed and lovely to look at. We ate spaghetti with it, and at first I feared the tomato sauce had stained the ivory-colored handles, but they came clean in the dishwasher. The knives are extra long; I had to adjust my flatware storage to accommodate them. I really like the tiny, dainty teaspoons. Very happy with this purchase.

Love them!

The black section is not plastic which Is why I chose this product. They are extremely smooth and have a nice weight to them. Oh— the knifes are pretty sharp, so be careful :]

Nice for Everyday Use at a Good Price

Quality competes with more expensive cutlery. Nice weight and balance in your hand. Smaller (salad) forks are a notch too small, really, but it's a minor issue. Made in China despite the "Lyon" branding but still a good choice.

Elegant, good weight, seem very well made

Just received so can’t speak to how they will hold up over tome. But, I’m so pleased with them. They have a nice weight and the black is more of a matte finish than in the pictures. Really elegant.
