A good scraper

I was hoping for something more flexible. This one is sturdy. Good for mixing and scraping bowls. But too stiff to really scrape out the bottom of the cooking pots.

Ok but not fantastic

I was trying to find silicon spatulas as good as the pampered chef ones. You can see from the pictures that this red spatula is ok but just does not give the same clean satisfying sweep that the white pampered chef spatula does.

Great spatulas for mixing.!

The spatulas I have been using are the rubber on a stick. They wore down quickly. These are very sturdy and of a single unit (no rubber stuck on a stick). I use them for mixing cat food meals for neighborhood cats, possums, raccoons and vultures - the last are unwelcome guests but all four love the food and by association the spatulas. Good buy if you mix a lot of stuff.

Mostly love it

I like everything about this except that it is just a bit too stiff. I’d like a little more give in the spatula end so it conforms just a bit to the surface I am working with.

This is a good one, thick and sturdy, you may need the smaller thinner one, for delicate work.

Quality product

I had bought two long handled "skinny" GIR silicone scrapers to reach into jars which work great, so, I bought two fatter regular sized GIR silicone scrapers to replace the commercial Rubbermaids. These are much easier to use, I love both products from GIR. The scraper is flexible where you need it to be. The handle is stiff, easy to grip, and runs through 1/2 of the scraper end. The handle is not removable, so there are no cracks and crevices to clean. The heat resistance is a plus, as I used the skinny ones this summer to scrape down the sides of the pot during jam and jelly making. So the longer scaping end will work even better for next year's canning season.

Can you love a spatula?! Maybe so

Have you (like me) been using old spatulas whos origin is murky at best and often unknown? Are they fine but inspire no deep feelings? Man do I have the spatula for you. This thing is incredible!!! Solid feel in the hand, unibody - unlike some of my other spatulas where the top comes off and therefore traps gunk. super easy to clean and felixble enough to properly scrape the saucier on the edges. I also believe based on this morning's use that it may not hold onto as much of the oatmeal thickened water as my others, therefore making cleanup even easier. I'm a convert - you should be one too.

I actually got my first one of these as a kick starter reward. I probably only five of them and have gifted many more. They are sturdy, they are easy to clean, and they withstand heat because they are silicone. I would highly recommend these. All of the GIR products are great.

No issues yet!

It's hard to give a realistic review given I've had it for such a short period of time but so far it's working quite nicely, hasn't picked up any food smells so I'm comfortable using it for both cooking and baking, I've put it through the dishwasher a dozen times and haven't noticed any wear or tear, so far so good! edit: I've used these spatulas for almost exactly a year and I have nothing but positive things to say about them, great structure that hugs and scrapes the curves of fry pans, woks, and mixing bowls perfectly, very durable and virtually heat proof (no more melted handles!). I've now ordered 2 additional GIT 11-Inch in other colours and even still they're only ever found in the dishwasher because they're the first thing I reach for to make almost everything. The price is a big deterrent for me unfortunately so while I want (and arguably need) more it's hard to justify the price, worse is having someone ask for recommendations and trying to decide whether or not I want to recommend a $23 spatula when plenty of cheap (even if they are lower in quality) options more conveniently available to them, we all know at least a few people that are still highly wary of online shopping so I hope to see this awesome product just become more accessible.

Love this spatula!

It's sturdy, easy to use, washes up perfectly in the dishwasher. I love it because it's one piece and the business end doesn't fall off the way others have. Well worth the investment!

Feels hefty

So far so good. I've used it a few times and it seems like a quality kitchen implement. It feels like it has substance and weight to it, like it won't break easily. The end is narrow enough to fit in most jars, and flexible enough to scrape everything out. I think I should have just bought this one on the first places instead of the other spatula that broke on me after a few months.

More of a 3.75 than a 4, but still pretty good

Okay, look: for all the hype, I was expecting a better spatula. It's pretty costly, too, and my main complaint right now is durability. I haven't had it for that long (a couple months as of this review), and I can see spots where the silicone is damaged. I'm not doing anything excessive with it, and it's going in a drawer with a bunch of other utensils, so I'd say my use is light or moderate. It's good, but I heard it was great. So, you know, get it if you like pretty nice spatulas, but I bet you could get something not quite as good for half the price, and given my experience, it might last just as long. The price premium for this utensil is of dubious necessity.
