Pieces tear off, into your food
We purchased several GIR spatula's and the Spoonula in July of last year. Really happy to get high quality tools to use in our high end Dutch Ovens, and cookware. So far the spatula's have been top notch, working great on a daily basis, and surviving the crucible of the Holiday's. However, the same cannot be said of the Spoonula. The edge is fraying, and tearing, which or course goes into the food being prepared. I can't use this item, so I'd like to return it, even if I have to pay for shipping. When the edge of the Spoonula is compared to the edge of the Spatula's it's evident the Spoonula's edge is too thin and therefore not very durable. Design flaw.

My go to spatula
It is very sturdy all around. I have used it for many things in the kitchen from baking to stirring in a heated pan. Cleans up easily under any circumstances.

Once you cook with them, you will realize how spectacular these are and how much nicer cooking will be using them.
Like all of GIR’s other utensils, this Spoonula performs perfectly, uses high grade silicone, and is beautifully designed. It stands up to high heat, cleans easily, and it is very hygienic. I agree with other reviewers who believe in buying quality items that will stand the test of time. I’m quite certain that GIR products will last for many years to come. I have several different spatulas from GIR, two spoons and turners, a scraper, and both round and rectangular lids. Even so, there are so many other items from GIR I’d love to purchase—their ladles are beautiful, I’d love a set of their coasters, and all three of their bottle toppers. In time I will continue to purchase them because I believe in the vision of this company. I love their commitment to their customers and to producing the highest quality, well designed products that will bring joy to the people who use them. I am anxiously awaiting for GIR’s whisks and tongs to be released. They absolutely look amazing! When you buy from GIR, you are buying products that are beautifully designed and are of the highest quality. It will make your time in the kitchen just a little brighter and easier.

Fantastic and great sanitary one-piece design
I purchased this G.I.R. Spatula along with one other one and have been using both of them non-stop for months now. I’m honestly so impressed with the design and ease of maintenance. These are a much more sanitary design than two-piece spatulas or spatulas with nooks and crannies in the handles that do little more than harbor bacteria. These one-piece silicone spatulas are a simple, yet perfect utilitarian design that JUST WORK! They are easy to clean, quite durable, very temerature resistant, safe for use on any cooking surface, and should last a very long time with used and maintained with care. I would highly recommend these to anyone!

My favorite kitchen tool!
This is my favorite kitchen tool! It’s spoon/spatula design makes it great for so many functions and it absolutely will not burn or char in the hottest of pans! I have had this item for two years now, snd though it is used daily, it still looks brand new!
