Don't let your flowers flop. Keep heavy blooms upright with these generous supports. Ideal for any bushy plant, each 18 in. Dia hoop is anchored by three 30 in. tall stakes. Galvinized wire for years of use. Just place 1 plant inside the cage and guide the stems through as they grow. This peony cage is ample enough to help keep even the largest plants contained and under control without blocking sunlight or rain, but be sure to keep plants growing tall and off the ground for better air circulation. The large openings make harvesting easy and its galvanized finish makes it reusable season after season. This cage can be used in a garden bed, raised garden, or for container gardening while the emerald green color can help with organization of different plants while also giving an aesthetic look to your garden. These cages are easy to take out at the end of the season and are stackable within each other for easy storage.

Old-fashioned welded wire peony hoops
These are the best, in my mind, as they're sturdy, easy to use and store well (they nest easily upside down) and last a long time. They really do the job of holding up heavy blossom-laden peony stems. I've tried wrestling with the collapsible hoops and found them apt to collapse in the garden with peonies blooms ending up on the ground. The wire is about 1/4" thick and they appear to be very well spot-welded. I would guess that they will rust, over time, as mine did many years ago. The legs tend to bend a bit out of shape (I'll be more careful with these) and there's no green vinyl covering the wire. The price seems high based on the material and construction. This design must have been around for well over a century.

Peonies are my favorites.
Part of the peony actually grew on the outside of circle. I put it back inside. This keeps the flowers, that are so heavy, from dropping. Works well

Arrived bent
Arrived bent on the middle ring. I waited so long for it so will not send it back.

This is a $5 tomato cage
Not for peonies. And certainly not for $30. Keep looking.

Way overpriced and big time ripoff
These basically well designed and made peony supports are priced at just under $30 apiece. I checked with the manufacturer, Glamos, and the wholesale price is much lower. You can buy a pallet load for less than what I paid for 6. These are going back asap and shame on amazon for allowing this to happen.

Works well
I bought this hoop for my hibiscus plant and it does exactly what I wanted. It is high enough and wide enough to ensure the plant stays erect and individual branches don't fall over. It also appears sturdy enough to last a long time though I do plan on taking it indoors when cold weather comes.
